Comet let his hooves dangle over the small lip he decided to perch on. The world around him remained barren and silent, with only the faintest hint of life hanging on the horizon, shrouded by fog and putrid clouds. A sigh escaped his lips and he scratched his mane with a hoof. Rolling his eyes, he let himself drop from the cliff, slicing through the air at a blistering speed towards the ground below before spreading wings and breaking the fall mere inches from his demise. A powerful breeze tore through every strand of his mane, the once neatly formed style acting wild and untamed as Comet flew towards the bunker which he saw the group enter. The pegasus slowed down and let his hooves dig into the soil below. "So boring. I'm tired of sitting around already...what's taking those ponies so long?" He growled, spotting the hatch and trying to heave it open, with no such success. Comet grunted and pulled and pushed harder and harder, gritting his teeth with his hooves sliding all about the place. With strength failing, he groaned in annoyance and sat down on his flank next to the hatch with his hooves crossed tightly.

I'm one of those outside of the USA who has been following Sanders' campaign vigorously throughout the past few months. He is an incredible man for many reasons, and the NYC debate showed a much stronger Bernie than there was while Hillary was still taking most states.

Amber couldn't help but giggle at her bubbly and excited marefriend in front of her. Literally the epitome of cute. "Alright, Alright, you don't have to wait on me! Go out there and hug the heck out of your mother!" She exclaimed, a broad grin sweeping across her face and bouncing over to Solar to give her a small peck on the cheek for encouragement.

Comet was....curious, to say the least, observing the group from high above, like an eagle stalking its prey. Only this prey was very talkative. Loud too. Even from the perch that the pegasus had taken on a small cloud of dull grey tones, his ears twitched as voice after voice rose up from the path below. So much bickering, so much talking in general... He thought to himself, smacking his dry lips and rolling his eyes. You would think a group of ponies that large would at least try to mask themselves. They're a big enough target as it is, especially with that steel thing pounding around.

Meanwhile, quite the distance away... Comet hung in the sky away from the group, watching their ascent carefully with a muddied expression. He chewed on the thought of staying close to them, but experience had already shown that being anywhere near them seemed to just cause drama and annoyance. So instead, he had unfurled his wings and soared into the shrouded cloud layer above, breathing in the cleaner air that seemed to exist just above the radioactive and infected landscape below. He kept close to the group, but mostly just kept tabs on them. He'd help if absolutely needed of course, but he had his own plans.

Feeling sick af, but still somehow got a damn picture done. Don't even ask. xD (Damn who is that sexy guy in the mirror)

Comet couldn't help but smirk at Crackshot. He'd stayed relaxed, hanging back from the group to spectate the dramatic theatre piece unfolding before him. "Does this sort of thing happen to you a lot, grandpa?" He chuckled, looking at the number of fresh faces that had stumbled across the group before they'd even set another hoof up towards the mountains. "Because it kinda seems like you have a way of attracting all sorts of ponies."

"Oh joy...more guests." Comet rolled his eyes, and activated his battle saddle yet again as the rest of the group seemed to tense up and prepare. Crackshot was good, that much was clear, but it felt like the group had already been standing around too long and they were going to be further delayed by yet another possible encounter.

Amber was already in the shuttle and simply snuggled back into her seat, a contented sigh escaping her tired lips. A single eye opened up and searched for Solar, her smile broadening the moment her gaze fell upon the mare. There was a lot of movement as ponies quickly returned to the shuttle and took their seats once again, and Amber looked upwards as if imagining the Destiny above them, waiting for their return. "Alright, let's get this tin can moving and get back to Scarlett and the others pronto."

The pegasus blinked. She blinked again. Then a wide smile spread across her face and a warmth spread throughout her entire body. "Oh my goodness, yes!" She exclaimed gleefully, returning the hug and squeezing her marefriend's body tightly. "I can't believe it! I can't even begin to think- h-how...how is it even possible?!"

Amber was woken from her slumber by the cacaphony of shouts around her. She slowly opened one eye and searched around until her gaze fell upon an excited Solar, happily bouncing around yelling about something. So darn cute... "Um, Solar?" She spoke up, unfurling her wings and stretching her limbs. "What's got you so excited?"

"Whatever." Comet shrugged, with a grin spreading across his face. "I'm just here for the ride, not for the whole teamwork thing. I don't do teams." He put the map away back into his saddlebag and took a deep breath, looking up towards the mountain top. "Well, I'm ready to move anyway. Been moving for the past week or so as it is, no point to stop now."

Always loved the character and was really excited when she was reformed with the potential of becoming one of the main characters for season 6. The premiere was just as I imagined with her character and I look forward to more. Starlight is best new pone <3
