    So basically, this new comic arc features Twilight wanting to trigger Flutterbat so she can turn her friends into bat ponies via the "breezy spell", still without accepting any responsibility whatsoever for the fact that Flutterbat even exists? If Twilight ever did something like that in the show, she would be utterly irredeemable to me. I would hate her forever. >_>

      The way it's written, the comics are canon, but specifically the "B" canon.

       

      The one exception has been EQG in its early stages (Fall of Sunset and how the ReMane Five first met at CHS).
