    I'm not buying a current gen console until 60fps becomes standard. For crying out loud, why is 30fps still a thing? >_>

      To be fair, a game like Metal Gear solid V is far more advanced than FF&. Which MGSV actually runs at 60fps on both of those consoles, so there is that too.

      The new consoles ARE a huge improvement, in many areas. Like I said above. MGSV runs at 60fps, it barely hits 30 on the old consoles.

      You know what I don't like?

       

      Pokémon has gone backwards in frame rate. Generations I - III ran at 60FPS 24/7. Then, gen IV halved that to 30FPS. Gen V brought back 60FPS, but only for menus and battles (and boy do battles look gloriously smooth.) Then gen VI comes along and is not only at 30FPS 24/7, the frame rate also chugs like an old computer trying to run a modern operating system. Thanks Obama.
