    I actually loved Applejack's insistence on tradition in the episode. Reminds me why I relate to her so much.

      Her reason was honestly the only motivation that at least made some sense. Wanting to uphold family traditions seems noble enough. The other two though? Just....egh.

      I actually found Rainbow's pretty relatable to; at least from the perspective of a race fan. Really, her attitude isn't that much different for other so called "pure" race fans who believe if you're not there to finish first, then don't bother showing up.
