  1. I'll take a potato chip... AND EAT IT! Whoops, ninja'd That's a nice post spot you got there... It'd be a shame if someone were to take it...
  2. Doctor Who. Weirdest show/book/cartoon etc you've ever seen?
  3. 40. I mean, if that's okay with you... I'm posting this in the early A.M. hours... probably should have a go at sleeping sometime soon...
  4. I don't know, but I probably blame the English. Why is mayonnaise-covered hot chocolate not a religion by this point?
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQTRX23EMNk Heard this recently in some fan tribute video. Never heard of Leonard Cohen before, but this is enough to make me want to look more into his work.
  6. Super Mario World (especially since you could properly save, unlike SMB1-3), but Super Mario RPG is close behind. Favourite spread? Edit: food spread, sorry Like peanut butter, or jam, etc.
  7. I'd probably be Latios. I just like how calm and free-spirited he is, and being able to soar high up into the skies and see the world down below would help make even the worst problems look small. It'd be interesting, seeing the world from that kind of perspective whenever I needed to.
  8. This is the first I've heard of it, but I'd be so glad if it was true! It'd make sense if these rumours were true, considering each console since the N64 has gotten a Paper Mario game so far aside from the Wii U. Honestly, I'd probably be content with whatever type of game it would turn out to be, considering how I found even Sticker Star very enjoyable to play. Really though, a return to the mechanics of TTYD would be brilliant, maybe with some of the features from SPM mixed into it (multiple playable characters, Catch Cards, for instance). I liked the idea of Super Flag achievements in Sticker Star (not so much the execution- seeing all 8 flags up in the credits didn't exactly justify the hundreds of otherwise unnecessary battles needed to get there... ), so something similar with less repetition and more reward would be lovely to see. And, as much as I love Bowser, it'd be nice to have someone else as the final boss this time around. He was fine in the first PM because, honestly, the fact that he WON for once easily justified his return to final boss status. In SS, his character was paper-thin removed almost entirely, neither threatening or particularly humorous. He could take a break for once- let some other new menace take the stage already! Some sort of X-Naut organization perhaps, with an evil creature that resembles Mario for a final boss. -daydreaming over-
  9. 'Hate' isn't the right word for it, but I've never really gotten the appeal of Fluttermac. Actually, I'm just not all that interested in Big Mac shippings at all, particularly if they involve the Mane 6. I guess my problem is that his interactions with them (aside from Applejack, of course) seem to be minimal at best. There's just not enough material for me to easily believe that out of all the ponies in Equestria, Big Mac would be the one to win the heart of any of them. I get that Flutters and Mac are both the humble silent types, but from all the Flutterdash and Pinkieshy I've read I prefer seeing her paired up with someone more vocal and confident (opposites attract ) who'd encourage her to be brave and do things she'd hesitate to do beforehand. Plus, I've the impression that a considerable part in Big Mac/Mane 6 shippings is down to wanting (struggling to have) a stallion in the relationship... I'm fine with either hetero or homosexual relationship fics, but not when it seems like the writer's trying too hard to avoid one of the two by lumping two improbable lovers together.
  10. I don't have them often, but I'm quite partial to some good ol' PB&J sandwiches.
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQTRX23EMNk Heard this being used in a tribute video recently. I think it just really got to me because it's not that often I listen to music with such sombre lyrics. Leonard Cohen's voice isn't all that bad either... I'll have to check out some of his other songs some day.
  12. Aside from MLP, I'm pretty obsessed with gaming (all Nintendo, though ) as well as video game remixes. I've watched most of Doctor Who (including the classic series) and read quite a few books from it too. Most of the time though (ie, EVERY DAY) I'm busy reading fanfics instead.
  13. I'm still wondering how exactly my mum can call the Crazy Bus title screen 'relaxing'.
  14. What is your OTP (One True Pairing) from anything, if you have one?
  15. The sound of joy, at meeting once again a very dear old friend. and a heck of a useful double jump
  16. Apples. They've got the right amount of juicyness and sweetness, plus most of the time they work pretty well in a recipe. Bananas are close, but they're just a bit too mushy for my liking.
  17. Aw, no 'cuddle' option? I'd give them a sugar cube first of all (hey, it's not everyday my best friend turns into a pony- I gotta appreciate the cuteness while I have it!), but I'd get to finding that magnificent dreaded wizard straight afterwards.

    general media Favourite incidental music?

Couldn't find any other thread on here like this one; sorry if I've missed it somehow! So yeah, what would you say is your favourite background music from anything you've ever heard? (Film, anime, video game, whatever it's from) I love the background music from the episode 'The Show Stoppers' for some reason (I blame Sprakle) probably just for how upbeat it manages to be. Kinda catchy, too... The incidental music for Doctor Who: The Five Doctors is my other favourite, mainly down to familiarity and nostalgia (I've watched the episode more times than I should do... ) I also loved how ominous it could be at times, which just really fitted in with the story as a whole. What incidental music do you like?
  19. Loving the look of this so far! I find it interesting how empty those fields were most of the time, very few enemies hanging around at all. Maybe Nintendo's just getting around to adding some more of them, or it could be the sort of world where the enemy population travels around and increases/decreases at times (a la Monster Hunter). I just find it curious for some reason... whatever happens, I'm looking forward to playing it next year and finding out for myself.
