  1. Friends come and go and sometimes a long friendship breaks because of something small. A true friend may not like your words or decisions in a topic, but wont just delete you. I had friends online I know for so long and even in days, they or me where mad at the other, we still cleared that out or just avoided the topic. I hope they will add you back but don't make much hope. There are plenty millions of people online and in Real Life. You may lost a long friend, but mayby you find for that another longer friendship.

I even had a online friend, with that we played for months online and chatting around, he even started watching MLP. And hen from 0 to 180, he deleted me everywhere, German playstation forum, facebook, PSN and that was nearly 2 years ago now ... I still don't even know why he deleted me and ignoring me now.

Yea I have one friend whom I have argued with multiple times, sometimes quite heavily, but never have we ever deleted each other. We have temporarily blocked each other for a few days when things get too heated, we simmer down and we always go back to being friends. We have been friends now about 4 years.

Sometime ago, more so months ago I too lost a relation with a dear friend. Having been together for 4 years (friendship, mind you) I felt I could go to him for anything. I was having a troublesome day and I asked if we could talk. He responded, saying he was jaded with everything. He's tone felt brash. And disconnecting. Telling me to go elsewhere. I felt immensely crushed. It's difficult rereading to express how it went down. I feel explaining it seems awkward and too simplistic . "Just talk to him." I tell myself but, it's all how he responded. Like he just didn't care. Anyway, I do hope your friendship is restored. You have my deep sympathy.

I went through something similar about 3 years ago. It was with a friend we played together, had laughs together in DC Universe Online (and other games) We even had complimentary steam alias's, He even offered to give me one of his two video cards when the one in my old PC gave out while I was at college (computer was neigh unusable because of that, flickering brown boxes all over the screen. Then suddenly one day he just  disappeared, after a few weeks (months?) I noticed that I always seemed to just miss him. Like the last offline said "4 hours ago" or 10 minutes ago, 3 days ago, etc. Then one day ... I decided to click on his profile to see if he has just been super busy with life or something, maybe he left a message, maybe I could check to see how many hours he clocked in to see if we just somehow got on opposite schedules. Then on his profile I see he is online, and in-game .... I check my friend's list sand see "offline" .... Confounded, I try talking to one of his other friends (after attempting to add one.) I asked what was going on ...

I cant remember who exactly said what, but next thing I know I am called a stalker, and I am then removed from the friend list instead of being blocked (which leaves a person on the friends list) ... I just sat there thinking ... why in the world was I called a stalker? You consider some one a good friend and they suddenly disappear, of course over time you would notice something is wrong, of course I would be aware they would be "offline" an unusual time (especially when i have them at the top of the list in a "best friends" tag .... Even to this day I am left with a mystery, but thankfully not too much on betrayed or the such ... Since I literally went approximately a year without contact, wondering how I kept missing the person (briefly; and only occasionally, with questions getting stronger as time progressed) ...

    New Chapter

After a bad night's rest, (going to sleep after being awake about 20 hours). I woke up at 3:00 AM, I did not get my 8 hours of sleep ... Not wanting to wake up I went back to bed, woke up at 700 AM .... I hop on steam ... hoping my message was passed along, and that in some slim sliver of hope, my friend would add me again, and we would reconcile. To my happiness, there it was, a friend request my eyes had so hoped to see. Though I felt joy, there was also sadness. Because .... how can i truly be happy, with a friend who was so quick and willing to cast me aside? That act of spurn, is not something to be forgotten so easily, no matter how much I wish it never happened.

Though I doubt the words can do it justice *heartfelt hug* to all my fellow ponies here at the forums, for taking the time to read my story, for sharing some of their stories, and for taking the time of being there for me, even if only briefly, and for my dear friend, who had returned to me. I know posts about sad life things or the such aren't exactly popular or the most pleasing thing to read ... but when you truly think about it, if no one heeds the call for help in times of need, where does that leave those in need? It may not be things people may want to see sometimes, but at such times, we just need the support of others.

... Though on that one note, my friend who returned to me  ... I find I have an irrational fear that I was re-added not to reconcile with me ... but to do something out of anger or spite, nothing too serious, but more like an argument I do not want to have ... I can only hope for the best, and pray the fears are groundless.

  2. Totally agreed, its why I didn't give the video any real thought until curiosity about title finally convinced me anyways kind of like that "Alright, what in blazes are you talking about?", but yes it is a real video with real reasons ... I admit the more I think about it the more obnoxious the thumbnail seems to be ... Sorry to bother, it was just a topic bothering me, thinking female and controversy it just kind of jumped into train of thought. I thank you for hearing me ramble though.

P.S. the video was made by Gaijin Goomba. Basically it goes with a tone similar to that of game theories, i base that analogy off of the about me page, and compare it with the few game theory videos I have seen (primarily when compared to something like the videos Game Theory did on Rosalina's background)

Anyways, Gamergate sounds like a complicated situation to me, but mostly just because I didn't know anything about it to begin with. Speaking of which, with the teeny tiny bit I learned about the gamersgate movement (and the i guess the almost completely unrelated video I shared.) It just leaves me thinking ... When did we have so many complicated sociopolitical issues? I wish times were simpler and happier.

  3. I had no idea it was a thing. I get the feeling I heard about Gamersgate and controversy but I dont recall if that was in the same topic (i have like a 5% understanding) ...

I want to introduce this topic, but I think the best way to bring it up is just to share the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxVv7pbqXvY

Which by the way, I completely agree with. Who are we to tell women they cant look like that? Just why are the more buxom women so ostracized or condemned? On that topic, women with larger chests have their own set of problems! I think Buzzfeedyellow made a relatively informative video about it.

Well ... I just started rambling, But I am empathetic about such problems ... yet too uncomfortable to really bring them up ... funny how that works right?

  4. I replaced one of the computer fans! the most problematic one of course. (Blue LED Enermax fan). The replacement i got (a near identical one) is working great! Though I swear the lights are 2x brighter than the old one! ... maybe after 2 years the old one's lights simpler got dimmer over time and I never noticed?.

I also formatted the computer ... though I made a thread here about a mysterious and troubling problem that I ran into afterwards. info would sure be appreciated!

*edit* The problem has been fixed! by some miracle, the joy has been doubled! ... alas,it took all the way until 2 AM ... 4 Hours of tinkering!

  5. @Candy Star If you are referring to the Media Discussion forum of Everfree forest, with the "Technology" tag, I am aware. Though I felt the blog would be more appropriate (due to the limited opportunity/topic of feedback), but sadly does not garner as much attention. I thank you for your contribution.

  6. I'd like to answer that question, but honestly somewhere in that, i just got lost in translation (moving throujgh the story). Buddy (I just call my friends that; its not age related)  let me tell you this. When i was in middle school I had 1, maybe 2 friends. I met them on a spur of the moment from simply jumping in their conversation about a game I was interested in. We moved apart in high school after about a year, only met for a lunch or two. And from college, we only further moved apart. I speak to one of them about once every few months. And in college I have but one person I call a friend, even then we speak weekly. We met and became friends from  a random encounter from a gaming club meeting, when i asked who brought a certain game, and he let me borrow it. Life's friends seem to come from random instances to me (or if your searching too I guess). Just gotta put yourself out there, and make some friends.

Take a look here on the poniverse, you'v got enough people who'd actually like to be your friends as compared to the number a person gets on facebook friends. I'd say the only thing keeping us all from hanging out together, is distance. I for one, dream of a time when me and my online friends can all hangout together, eat a resteraunt, play some video games, all that good stuff.

  7. Well it seems that image restore nonsense did not really help, the startup is just as slow as before. Might really consider actually formatting the PC this time (darn that hesistance and making sure I have all my music/backgrounds/game saves .... other things i cant think of but im sure im missing).

After closely examining my PC fan (the center cover above the motor), i noticed its wiggling by about 1mm, granted I am fairly certain ball bearing fans always kind of had that wiggle room, I am fairly certain its not supposed to be that way while spinning ... It could be a sign that the ball bearing is going bad?

  8. CPU temp is fine, trust me, it doesnt make enough of an impact on cooling, if anything I have excessive cooling, It does not really slow down the fan (noticably) but the wire does begin to vibrate (fan does not wiggle). It happens in the center of the fan (likely under the casing). The problem is either the ball bearings going bad, or the wire something moving to a place it shouldnt be.

Naturally though the problem with the wire getting damaged, or potential damage to the fan blades is the real issue to worry about.
