  I am actually surprised that kharn managed tos urvive angron's wrath in the first place, kharn was infact put near death by an strong astartes. (that happend somewhere during the horus heresy, so its safe to assume that kharn at that time was weaker then the blood thirsty khorne chamption we see him as today).
