    Novel grins "I must study." She pauses and looks at Luna "may I return home for my studies. I'm close by. Seth will keep me on track when it comes to time." She asks, nervous to again ask for something that she feels is too much to ask for. She refuses to be timid and looks at Luna respectfully

    Novel looks around before smiling "can we go back now?" She asks, before looking at the door "I would like to study some more on those books" she smiles "there could be more information that they hide in their pages" she says and turns to look back at the door

    Novel sighs and looks at the princess "I am so very sorry Luna. I-" she hesitates and takes a deep breath "I doubted the abilities and trust of everypony, and considered quitting. I will not be able to save everypony if we cannot get along or form bonds of trust. I am so very sorry I doubted you and Celestia"

    Novel laughed for the first time in days. She could not help it, hearing those words from the princess when she calmed down her face saddened and she looked at the ground, trailing her hoof in very small circles on the floor, as if she were fidgeting

    Novel blushed and looked away. "Oh hush" she said to Seth, avoiding his eye and a bit embarrassed. "I'm just glad to see him again and to know he is okay" She sighs and looks down "I hope to see him soon enough" She looks at Seth and Luna and smiles "So are we going to whoop Sombra's flank?" she grins.

    Novel beams at the news "Thank goodness they are recent! Quill would be delighted to know! If you ever need more research feel free to use my library at any time" She bows at the princess and thanks her graciously "You really did not have to do that for me you know, but I thank you so very much Princess"

    "Sombra has the city under watch, but it isn't locked down. We could easily teleport into the library at night when the guards leave the homes, like I said before" She looks at Luna "We can get into the city without an issue and he is safe. Taking care of refugees as well" She smiles.

    Novel is smiling in satisfaction "Well the code is secret and very complicated, but through book titles, phrases, and body language we can communicate. I cannot give away the details, that would be breaking our pact." Novel nuzzles Seth back "I know. We could pass for twins if we tried hard enough, and we have" She grins

    Novel sighs in sadness "Sombra has the city under watch, but it isn't locked down. We could easily teleport into the library at night when the guards leave the homes." She grins "we have a code to communicate. Well a book code. We used it since we were foals"

    Novel beams "I see you've been hitting the books. Have you read the new pony cookbook that came out? I heard its a hit" she says casually "no. I haven't. I'll add it to my list." Novel nods " how about the adventurer's guide", he shakes his head. "Alright, I'll leave you to your studies. I love ya quill" "love you too novel, stay smart" ((That's their code XD))

    ((Tis fine)) Novel gulped as they appeared in her old home. She smiles as it is just how she left it. Quill was in their room, studying something of importance. She could tell because he had bags under his eyes. "Quill. It's Novel. Can you hear us?" Quill paused and looked towards the sound "Novel!" He cries and runs to hug her, but runs right through. "Wh-what?" He looks puzzled

    Novel looked at her "Star Quill your majesty" she says, a smile on her face. She couldn't believe this was happening "will he be able to see us? Or communicate with us?" Novel asks, nervously. She hoped so, but if not that is fine too. She will see him soon enough

    Novel smiles in great appreciation, but gulped in fear. She will see Quill for the first time since Sombra's reign and she prays that he is still alive and well. If he is dead, well it would have to be by Sombra's own hands cause he is a fighter to the end. Though the chances of him not being there are one in a million

    Novel smiles "Thank you Princess Luna, this means a lot to me. I haven't seen him in a very long time" She sighs softly and looks down "I left him behind and I want to say I am sorry for not being able to take him along" She looks like she wants to cry "I know he is okay with staying behind but I constantly worry about him and his safety"

    Novel glanced at Seth before following. Was she really going to see Quill? After so long? She hopes he is not mad at her for leaving for so long and not sending word of her safety. Either he will be upset, or simply happy to see her again for a moment. She nervously follows Luna

    Novels ears twitched at the sound before calling "come in". With that she would stop pacing. ThE sight of Luna before her startled her a little. What could she want? Novel went right into a bow and spoke softly "good morning Princess Luna" The unexpected visit made her slightly nervous, since her mind always thinks she's in trouble

    Her ears went flat "I fear he may be angry with me pulling him away. I'm certain he is part of the rebellion, or providing shelter for other ponies. Taking him away.... Well he would be very angry with me. But maybe knowing he is okay, even for a moment might put me at ease"

    Novel shook her head "I need him AND the books you see. I also don't want to put him at risk either. Either way I need to see my home and I need to see it soon so I know how much damage we are dealing with. I-I do not know if teleporting Quill here will solve anything"

    Novel went back to her room and immediately began pacing back and forth. A thousand thoughts were flying through her brain mixed with some doubts on the passageways and Sombra's powers now. She needs to do more research, but can't do that here since her library is in the empire. She wants permission to leave ahead but is still confused as to if they will seek refuge at her place or do something else. Not to mention she's utterly terrified to ask for anything after the events of the morning and the mood of breakfast.

    Novel had finished her breakfast, and soundlessly rose up out of her chair and walked right out of the dining hall without a word uttered from her lips. Her brother was on her mind, her concern for him growing since she doubts they can save him or her home

    Novel shakily stands to her hooves and looks away "If they start screaming again I'm leaving" she mumbles "I cannot take much more of that" Novel keeps her eyes on the floor and her stomach grumbles loudly "I need food" she sighs and glances at Seth with a purple hue to her icy eyes
