    Novel sighs "What I need is to see my brother and get something to eat." She knows Quill will no so much more about the empire and Sombra's reign. Truly she misses him, and feels awful about leaving him behind, but she knows he made the right decision with staying behind.

    "We don't have a chance Seth!" She shouts "there is no trust or communication between everyone. It will not work!" Novel burrowed into Seth, sniffling "I do not want to die because of a mistrusting team. Sombra will find our weaknesses and use them against us. We need to trust each other"

    Novel felt her eyes water "Seth I'm not fit for this anymore. I cannot go to battle against Sombra knowing he will slaughter is all with a flick of his hooves. I can't stand the quarreling and the violence anymore." She shook a bit, not wanting to go see the others

    Novel wanted to cry. The stress is too much. She was about to cry "the other ponies scare me, and I know Sombra's power first hand, if we do not get ourselves together he will obliterate every last one of us. A healer will not matter if we cannot function as a team"

    Novel peeked at Seth and whines "No I cannot do this! It's too much! The noise! The chaos! I cannot take it any longer" She whines and cowers, this is no place fore a healer to be. The thrill of battle and war is not where she should be. Danger is not fit for her and she questions her decisions for coming in the first place.

    With all the commotion and yelling, Novels ears went back and she squeaked in fear. She hated screams of anger and loud sounds of such. She wanted to hide, and so she did. With a jump and a squeal of fear she galloped to the closet, slammed the doors behind her, and bundled right into the corner

    Novel woke with a yawn and a stretch. She had a good nights rest and felt refreshed. "Good morning Seth" Novel mumbles through another yawn, opening her eyes to look at him. Novels ears turned towards the sounds of the blades hitting together as a puzzled look crawls onto her face.

    Novel's ears twitched at the sounds but nothing more. Novel could hear the hoovesteps and movement but brushed it off her her sleep. She is a very light sleeper but can ignore sounds if she so chooses, that and she feels very safe in the castle, knowing she has a guard right beside her.

    Novel would kiss Seth lightly on the cheek "goodnight Seth" she would whisper, nuzzling into his strong body. He was nice and toasty, and the heat made Novel drowsy. She could feel herself drifting into sleep, a smile on her face. With that she would fall into a deep and peaceful sleep

    Novel smiles and scoots over a bit, allowing for him to hop up. She yawns, awfully tired from the day's activities. Novel snuggles up beside Seth, sleeply. There is a smile on her face as she looks up at him, happy to have somepony by her side for a change. With that she knows she will sleep soundly.

    Novel burrows into her pillows, laying ontop of the sheets. She pulls a warm blanket with her horn to cover her and the rest of the bed. After this she moves her head to call Seth up, wanting to curl up beside him and fall asleep next to him, sharing warmth between them

    Novel nods and smiles "I would enjoy the company. Are you sure that's alright? Do you need to let somepony know where you will be tonight?" She wanted to make absolutely sure that he will not get into any kind of trouble over staying with her for the night

    Novel smiled and walked into her room with a gasp. It was huge! And the bed looks so very comfy. She giggles at trots right to the bed, jumping on it with a whinny of shear delight. She landed in a pile of pillows and burrowed her face right into them, giggling

    Novel followed along looking around the castle. Wow this place is beautiful! She took everything in, marveling at every sight. She had never been in here before and wanted to remember all that she could. And she wanted to see the library eventually.

    Novel takes his hoof and follows obediently, not used to having a guard around. She looks at him and wonders if they will make it through the war. And if they do, will they be able to have a relationship after the horrors they might witness and the deaths they might cause

    Mage blushes and turns away, kissing him on the cheek instead. She's really tense when in a 'public' setting so naturally affection and love is most comfortably expressed when she's alone "w-where am I staying tonight?" She asks, wanting to get away from the open dining hall. She lifts her bag onto her back

    Novel sighs and packs up her things. She leaves behind the three books and one of her notebooks behind with her findings and observations from the books and her past out as open for the princesses. With them she left a note saying <i> Please return them to me when finished ~Novel <i>

    "B-but the books" She stammers, not wanting to leave them behind but knowing that Celestia will want to see them. Novel sighs softly and nods "Lead away Seth, I just hope she will take good care of them. They are very old books and very delicate!" She will worry about her precious books

    Her face was deep deep red at the odd gesture, so she stood there in shock. Wow her love for books actually got her somewhere in life for a change! She could not help but giggle to her self. Oh Quill would be so very proud of her! She cannot wait to tell him the news and the fact that those ancient books actually were worth saving

    Novel squeaked and blushed "Th-thank you Princess Luna. Honestly it was nothing. I read for a living so it was nothing out of the ordinary for me, honest. I just want to lend my abilities the best I can. I know that is what Star Quill would want and my parents"

    Novel can't help but beam in delight "I know I could find WAY more at home but that is if we have time or if I could go early with a few guards to see my brother Star Quill." She is talking very rapidly and the excitement is dripping from her voice. She can't even begin to imagine the knowledge that was hidden from the other ponies when she was trusted with some of the most sacred books at the first sign of danger. "If Sombra had never seen the books that were evacuated when the first threats came up, and if he is clueless about the passages, we might have a chance of a sneak attack or even have an advantage in battle!"

    Novel beams at her "I found a map Princess! A map of the castle! But it has the hidden passages" She pushes to book towards Luna "But look, it shows every detail." She frowns for a moment "The only problem is I'm not sure if it's accurate or not. I know I have something a tad newer in my library in the Empire. But maybe this book and the other two could help."

    She yells in glee "Get Luna or Celestia! Or both! I found something!" Novel squeals in delight at Seth, unable to contain it "This is HUGE!" She shouts "Of course I might need to go to my own library to check the reliability but regardless this is vital information!"

    Minutes passed and she did not even realize everyone had left. She eventually stopped eating and moved onto the last book. She lost track of herself and was about halfway through when she let out a yell "AH-HA I FOUND IT!" She practically leaped off her plot and jumped in excitement

    Novel heard literal nothing. She was engrossed fully in her research, wanting to miss nothing. She wanted to know everything she could about her home that could help the others. She kept mindlessly eating while scratching down words ((I might now be back until 7 doctors appointment and such))
