What do you mean I don't know what I'm talking about? Of cause I know what I'm talking about I'm talking about the over-reactors. The people who rage over the slightest difference, yes I have received some answers about people being reluctant to change but now people are posting as if I'm attacking the people who just casually questioning the change. Casually questioning it is fine because that leads to discussions. I'm talking about the people who are like "OMG THEY ARE DOING WHAT TO TWILIGHT? I'M LEAVING THIS FANDOM!" That's who I'm talking about. But it's clear none of us are on the same page of what this thread is asking so I'm just going to ask a mod to lock it.

Okay, no this isn't me condemning and silencing it, Nor is it about people who question change, I question the changes too but this is about the people who seem to flip out about every each update on a new addition to the show. Please stop trying to turn this into a hate thread.

Perhaps I should rephrase the question. It's usually when the change is announced early before the episodes have even aired. stuff like Alicorn Twilight, Cadences and Shining Armours Wedding, Equestria Girls and even Rainbow Power. No when the episodes air that change something that isn't announced no-body really reacts like in a panicked state. I am not trying to attack anybody Dulset and I apologize if it seems that way. I'll give a prime example of the first time this happened, that being a Canterlot Wedding. The changes before the episode was announced were Cadence being an Alicorn and introduced and also introducing the fact that Twilight Sparkle had a brother via Shining Armor. Now when these things were revealed they were receiving nothing but hate. ANOTHER ALICURN JEEBUS!? WHY HADN'T WE HEARD ABOUT A BROTHER BEFORE ZOMGBBQ! and etc But when the episode aired bronies quickly changed their tune actually liking the new editions and accepting them especially with the new villain Chrysalis (Which I hope they do more with.) Inevitably the same thing happened with Alicorn Twilight with all the rage and panick but in season 4 nobody is raging and have again just accepted it. The question more stems of why do people hate on something that hasn't be even aired yet and have no idea whether or not it will be any good. Even Equestria Girls has been accepted with the addition of Rainbow Rocks.

Pfft, both of those made me laugh, but it assumes that every human fears change when you use that logic, I welcome change does that make me less human? GASP I'M AN ALIEN I MUST INFORM NASA AT ONCE.

In my honest opinion though, Season one was a good starting point but it was just that, a starting point. A lot of the episodes in Season 1 I could pass on seeing again not because they were bad but because they were kind of meh to me and I entered the fandom at Season 1, What I originally loved about the show was how it challenged the conceptions of a franchise that was meant for little girls but make it enjoyable for all ages and genders and it passed the test, it made me rather nostalgic for the cartoons I grew up with. Season 2 then took what it had and made it even better! How did they make it better? They added new characters and dynamics. The changelings. Revealing Twilight had a brother. Even showing that Celestia wasn't an OP Mary-sue that could just save the day.

What I mean by this is whenever a new toyline or character is introduced such as a new power or pony growing wings or even the introduction of a new alicorn. Bronies seem to collectively run around on fire screaming 'its over /ragequit fandom' It's like they've never watched a TV series before in their lives. I would love to see them watch Venture Brothers all the way through, the amount that show evolves and changes shows exactly why change is good cause it keeps the show lively, None of the additions really phased me apart from Alicorn Twilight but that was more of a case of when it happened rather than why for me. I saw it as inevitable. So why is it that the slightest change tends to cause chain reactions of hatred and panic in the MLP:FiM community P.S don't say it doesn't happen because it happens all the time and then it passes and people then accept it.

I am aware that this was probably added for a joke but the baiting needs to stop now, we've already had one argument in this thread.

Season 5 is pumping itself up to be brilliant, what with those silly hollywood voice over epic teaser trailers they've been boasting it with. I keep thinking the voice at any point is going to say "Directed by Micheal Bay" especially after the season 4 finale. Also I had a major problem with the Twilight Trailer in which the announcer says "She chose to leave her library for a castle." Okay so apparently getting your home blown up by a terrorist attack and having a castle sprout up where it used to be constitutes choosing lol.

Just to be clear, my post with the u wot m8 was intended as a joke, hence the meme post. People have different tastes like for example I hated nearly all of season 3 and what it was doing, other people liked it. Should that make me think any less of them? No and it doesn't. For example I'm good friends with a youtube critic Antony C and he hates Dog and Pony show but I love it because we see the episode differently. This thread should be about sharing your opinion on season 4 and nothing more, not bickering over who is right or wrong because there is no right and wrong, it's all just opinions and opinions can't be wrong. In closing, calm down guys and discuss. Don't jump down each others throats over difference of opinions.
