Name: Stardust Balance. Type: Earth Pony. Gender: Male. Appearance: Mixture of blue and green eyes, messy brown mane and tail in various brown hues. Fur Coat: Shaded gold. Cutie Mark: A dark blue heart with a light blue star in the middle (he's rather ashamed of showing it.) Hobbies: Writing. Pacing. Contemplating. Fencing. Brooding. Reading. Personality: Anti-social and distant, yet friendly once you get close to him. Prefers his own personal space. Doesn't tolerate messing around and gets the job done. Despise loud noises and egotistical ponies. He thinks and contemplates alot, approves of creativity and originality when it comes to stories. Will not apologize if he doesn't mean it. Very philosophical and doesn't believe in morality, but isn't opposed to equality. And unless you have something important to say to him, it would be wise not to say anything at all. Speaking of which; he finds the wisdom of Equestria's ruling monarch questionable, despite himself having an infatuation with her prized pupil. Additional Details: Currently the main character of a fanfic of mine. He's basically my ponysona... well more of my exact ponysona.

Theory time: Midnight Sparkle is everything dark within pony Twilight extracted and given physical form and concious... or just some failed experimental test result human Twilight made on herself in her investigation on magic. Either way I'm intrigued; never even heard of this character before now.

Short answer: no. Long answer: the films would still suck to my eyes.

I can really imagine Chrysalis being used in the potential EG TV series more, disguised as human Miss Cadence the English Teacher or something similar. XD

With the upcoming third movie to the spin-offs, a curious thought hit me, since I have yet to see this thread anywhere else: who, or what, will be the new antagonist in this next sequel? Will it be an old villain, who we're already familar with? Such as the revenge of the Dazzlings, a human Discord, a disgruntled Trixie for examples. Or will he/she/they be entirely new designs and characters, never before seen in the show? Mostly likely to match the next theme of the movie (in this case sports) in the highest ridiculous degree. What do you think? What kind of villain would you expect/desire in this next spinoff? Plus would you prefer the return of the show's classical villains, the movie's antagonists, or someone new entirely?
