To quote Luna "well, it's not the BEST feeling..."

AJ's Mix It Up is good though.

      Who's what now?

Wait no, if it's from another of those Godforsaken EQG shorts I'd prefer to live in ignorance.

    3. CypherHoof

      CypherHoof

Ah well. I think its RD level awesome, but if you aren't an EqG fan that's fine too :D

      CypherHoof

Surely the only way to get there is to stand for office? :D

  3. I'm gonna have to stay off Youtube for a long time when KH III and Sonic Forces are around the corner. XD

  4. "Jack, are you drinking both of those coke cans at once?"

"Yes ma'am... They're in tribute to my home country."

    "Both of them?"

    "It's a big country..."

"Jack, England is roughly one-hundred and thirty-thousand kilometers in size. One-hundred and thirty-thousand, two-hundred and seventy-nine kilometers to be more specific."

    "...*Sips.*"

"*Sighs* The things I do for love..."

  5. Sonic Mania tonight! Sleep? Screw that, my childhood calls for me!

  6. The Lion Guard. Where three grown-arse crocodiles cen be bested by a lion cub, a bird, a hippo, an infant cheetah and a child honey badger. Also Scar's back as a talking volcano lava ghost head because shut up.

    1. CypherHoof

      CypherHoof

To be fair, even a child honey badger is still a honey badger....

    2. Macavity Wilko

      Macavity Wilko

That series is so stupid and childish...

Can't wait for the next episode

  7. I'd love an MLP version of Dragonball Xenoverse where you could create your own characters consisting of Earth Pony, Unicorn, Pegasus, Changeling or Zebra, and you go back to certain episodes of the show and fix any changes in them.

I'd definitely play as a Changeling.

    1. Castle Bleck

      Castle Bleck

Legends Of Equestria (except you can only be an Earth Pony, Pegasus, or Unicorn).

P.S.: Since Xenoverse also lets you be one of Frieza's or Buu's species, why not add Alicorns and Draconequuses as well (oh, God  )?

    2. Stardust Balance

      Stardust Balance

Well I was thinking that Alicorns would be like a power-up for unicorn class or something. And I specifically chose equine-type races because it'd be likely that's the limit they'd put into the game.

  8. It's our flaws which makes us perfect.

  9. https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/754287/stardust-isnt-a-hero

Suddenly this feels as if it holds more weight because of today's episode.

  10. So my two disturbing mental voices, thoughts?

I quite found the novelty endearing.

A heartwarming tale of everything Twilight and her friends endured, a reminder to all that sometimes, our expectations may get the better of others and begin to depict those we revere as without fault. Of course we may never be satisfied with where an adventure takes us, true there are some aspects we may never concur with, but as young Fluttershy suggested, we must stand strong and not all the harshness of others to affect who we are.

Well I thought it was terrible.

It's sleazy, and pointless; a wasteful jab to mock those bearing sincere criticism and unafraid to point out the idiotic choices the show makes at times, baring the whining towards more pointless events such as 'Twilight was better before moving to Ponyville.' Instead of accepting what the people are expressing, acknowledging them, they prefer to openly mock these more open-minded viewers who don't take all the laziness at face value and basically tell them to go [BEEP] themselves.

    Yourself, Jack?

Well... On the one had, I did enjoy the song sequence and overall message the girls beautifully portrayed. On the other, I had hoped the ponies harassing them would learn their lessons too. I'm sure I can rectify that in the coming future... But overall, I enjoyed the ride, especially with Starlight involvement however small. We're all flawed, some more than others, just look at Stardust.

But that's why we have them, isn't it? To overcome and turn to be the better person. Perhaps that's been my own unintentional messages in A Journey Beyond Sanity. I definitely look forward to reaching that episode in the story.

  11. I can only imagine the look on Twilight's face everytime I use the internet to look up all class answers for Persona 5...

  12. My national anthem... One of them anyway.

  13. Dungeons & Discords = Decent.

    Buckball Season = Yawns.

Fault in our Cutie Marks = SNORE.

    Viva Las Pegasus = Meh.

  14. Currently watching Buckball Season, and I already see the problem. Unicorns aren't really needed for the team when the buckets can stay on top of poles and thus make the game more challenging. I think the inclusion was added because 1. They didn't want to exclude unicorns from the game so they ham-fisted them in, and 2. To give Snails of all ponies a time to shine and display skill over something for no rhyme or reason.

    1. Silver Note

      Silver Note

It was still nice to see Snails in a nice light for a change, though.

Yeah for the first ten minutes, then right at the conclusion he's treated like an idiot.

    3. Silver Note

      Silver Note

He does give the team advice later on, but I see your point.

  15. Maybe I should just have Stardust confront the Vashta Nerada in LoE. Certainly be more appealing than another boring demon monster.

  16. I won't lie... I shed a few tears of joy. Sonic. Is. Back.

    1. Castle Bleck

      Castle Bleck

Only question is, is he called Robotnik or Eggman this time around?

  17. Zephyr: "So Stardust."

    Stardust: "Yo."

Zephyr: "You're in someone's body whereas someone else is in another's body."

Stardust: "I'm confused by this already."

Zephyr: "Okay. You're in one of the other guy's body. Pick one."

Discord: "Oh, oh! Pick me! Me!"

Sombra: "Stardust with Discord's magic... Crystal forbid."

Stardust: "Erm... Not really sure. There are positives and negatives to being in the body of anyone in this room."

    Spike: "Thanks bro."

Zephyr: "That's not the question though, answer it so we can get it over with."

Stardust: "Alright... Hm. I don't know... It'd really depend on what purpose I'm using the body for."

Zephyr: "Alright, you're in Sunburst's body."

    Stardust: "I'm in Sunburst's body..."

Zephyr: "And Discord's in Sombra's body."

    Stardust: "Discord's in Sombra's body..."

Sombra: "Not on his life he is."

Sunburst: "Please take good care of my body then, it's the only one I got."

Zephyr: "So it's Sunburst talking to Sombra but it's you talking to Discord."

    Stardust: "Okay."

Zephyr: "Would you, as Sunburst, mate with Sombra? Just so it's his body mating with another, but when you're back to yourself you wouldn't have mated with anyone?"

    Stardust: "No..."

Discord: "But if it was also your mother."

    Sombra: "And your father observed."

Zephyr: "You could potentially have someone mate with a pony of the same gender."

Stardust: "See the problem with that, Zephyr, the memory wouldn't be in Sunburst or Sombra's heads. The memory of it would be in my head."

Sunburst: "Not to mention, Sombra's not really my type. No offense of course."

    Sombra: "I understand."

Spike: "He's more interested in former mare villains."

    Shared laughter.

Zephyr: "The feeling of mating would be there of course."

Stardust: "Noo they wouldn't feel anything because they never knew it happened."

    Zephyr: "I'm talking about afterwards."

Stardust: "Tch! Oh yeah afterwards where I'm like 'Ha ha, your body did it with that body!'"

Zephyr: "So what you're saying is, you wouldn't mind if someone took control of your body and did things with it?"

Spike: "I don't think that's what he said at all..."

Stardust: "Alright, look here Zephyr... It's all about the brain, alright?"

Discord: "Not sure if Zephyr would know anything about that."

Stardust: "If it's not part of my life experience... Then it doesn't matter to me. If I don't remember it ever happening, then why should it bother me?"

Zephyr: "Somepony else using your body behind your back means nothing to you?"

Stardust: "Honestly my body may have gotten up to a lot of things I'm not aware about. But if I don't recall it, then it never happened to me. My life experience are the parts that I saw."

Discord: "Like when Sombra used you like a puppet."

    Shared laughter.

Zephyr: "Your life experience are the parts that you saw. So anything that happens behind your back, or you're not subconsciously aware of-"

    Stardust: "It never happened."

Sunburst: "I'm honestly surprised by this, Stardust, I figured you of all ponies wouldn't be too happy over someone utilizing your own body for other means."

Stardust: "Never said I'd be fine with it."

Spike: "But he does raise a good point. I remember one time back in Canterlot, Twilight trying out a new spell which accidentally knocked me out for three days straight. Everyone was worrying, panicking, calling it tragic or heartbreaking. Me? I don't remember a single thing!"

Stardust: "See? Exactly. You just skip over those parts."

Discord: "Would that include parts where you get afflicted with an illness and forget everything that happened? It has to right?"

Sunburst: "While you're ill? I think that applies if you are unable to recollect the details."

Stardust: "Alright Zephyr, this is it. You're doing some math around this, I'm just gonna part my cards on the table here."

Zephyr: "Alright Stardust, this is the situation."

    "No now you listen-"

    "This-"

    "You listen right here-"

    "It's you in someone else-"

    "God's sake Zephyr-"

Sombra: "Shut up! I'm going to the snack bar. This is plain idiotic."

Stardust: "Alright Zephyr, what have you got?"

    Zephyr: "Alright Stardust, it's you-"

Sombra: "I can still [BEEP]ing hear them, that barely helped with anything."

Spike: "They're in the same room as you Sombra!"

    Sombra: "I know, I know."

Sunburst: "Walking to the other side doesn't help with anything."

Zephyr: "It's you in someone else mating with someone else in someone else."

    Discord: "Wait, what now?"

Sombra: "Zephyr, shut the [BEEP] up."

Stardust: "What does that even mean- Alright listen, this is it... You can be in here... But you'll never be this."

A pause, followed by uproarious laughter.

Discord: "'You'll never be this...' Classic!"

Stardust: "It's not an arrogant thing; you can occupy the meat but you'll never have the mind."

Spike: "'You can occupy the meat!'"

Sombra: "That might be one of the few genuinely funny things you've ever said."

    Discord: "Twilight will be proud!"

  18. A heart. A heart. My kingdom for a heart.

  19. First scene towards next week's exciting chapter of AJBS! A Hearth's Warming tale, and... Well this speaks for itself. Enjoy!

    "Please?"

    "No."

    "Pleeease?"

    "Hm. Still no."

    "Pleeeeeeeeeease?"

    "How about... No."

    "Twilight!"

The alicorn addressed chuckled at Spike's pouting look. "Sorry Spike. Looks like you'll have to wait until the following morning." The dragon bowed his head in exaggerated depression, prompting Twilight to continue, "Why don't you enjoy the gifts you unwrapped tonight? Don't worry, the presents won't be going anywhere."

Spike faintly nodded, slouching out of the reading room to do just that. "Yeah, I'll go read one of the countless books Twilight always gets me, every year..." Heard that, but I smirked regardless, resuming my attention on the open pages before me. Twilight shifting from behind, our backs leaned against one another on the couch, to get more comfortable.

    Ungrateful twerp.

In Spike's defense, Twilight spoiled him with allowing the baby dragon to open his gifts a day early. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer the more traditional way of celebrating tomorrow; my own presents to both Spike and Twilight unwrapped and prepared for the special holiday tomorrow.

That's right baby. Tomorrow, it's Christmas!

"You shouldn't tease him like that." Twilight remarked behind me, reading her own book.

Smirking, I responded, "It'll make him more excited for tomorrow. I'm more worried about the pay off."

"I'm sure it'll be worth the wait," Twilight reassured kindly, "Judging by the size of your gifts I've witnessed, Spike's going to love what you got for him, as will I."

    Hopefully.

Twilight's soft laughter was bliss to my ears. "If anything, I should be the one concerned with my gifts for you. You claimed you didn't want anything this year, but..."

"Hey, so long as it's not clothes, love, I'm all good."

"Well then honey, aren't you going to be pleasantly surprised tomorrow morning," She replied with even playfulness, "And yes, you will be getting up early for this Hearth's Warming, before you start to comment."

    "Shocking."

I'm certain they'll enjoy your gifts.

No matter how pointless they seem.

There is no such thing as meaningless for this time of festivities, my friend. Hearth's Warming is a celebration of peace and family, where all gather to enjoy being in the company of their loved ones in unity and prosperity.

Not to mention, express false modesty concealing the greed of gaining gifts and expressing ungrateful disappointment when it's something unwanted. Like with that dragon just now.

Hey leave Spike alone. To be fair, Twilight keeps giving him the same presents every year. I'd be flat out exasperated too. Although... Books were far more preferable to receive from loved ones than clothing.

Feeling her back head press against mine, Twilight sighed in content. "Jack... I'm glad you're here."

    "Hm...?"

I could picture the radiant smile from behind me. "With you celebrating Hearth's Warming with us... With me, it feels like our family is complete." My breathing slowed considerably, the book forgotten in my hoofs for a long moment. "Happy Hearth's Warming Jack."

    ...Twilight...

With a small, gratified and content smile, I leaned my head back in turn to glance at the ceiling, returning quietly in kind, "Merry Christmas Twilight..."

Who needed material goods? I had my best present right here.

Enjoy some playful flirtatious banter between Sunset and Jack.

  21. Principal - Sorry, former Principal - Cinch is, without a doubt, the closest thing to a villain in all of EQG. While Sunset, Daisy and the rest were just either childishly petty or selfish, Cinch's motivations and actions were the most realistic and identifiable among them; manipulating a minor through physical and emotional blackmail and focusing on winning something in the name of reputation. Cinch was the most human, and her being a full grown adult makes her actions all the more despicable, thus why it was so enjoyable seeing her get her comeuppance than the other villains in Sunset's world.

I still think she should've been flat-out arrested than fleeing and simply getting sacked off-screen.

    1. Johnny1226

      Johnny1226

I agree mostly though I don't think she could be arrested to begin with not only is she well respected but the whole problem was magical in nature which no one would believe so telling the cops that she nearly caused a reality with talking ponies to collide with theirs would not be taken seriously

  22. "Steven Moffat killed off lots of main characters!"

Yeah, remember when he killed off... Erm... Or how about... Huh.

  23. Like with Super Best Friends, Telltale's season three of TWD is legit making me angry. I've never craved for the death of a kid character so much until now.

    2. Flutterstep

      Flutterstep

Season two annoyed the hell out of me with it's forced ending. Every charecter just suddenly changed their personality for the sake of tge plot. So much for the long charecter development I invested it.

    3. Stardust Balance

      Stardust Balance

TRUST ME, there is NO character consistency regarding season three. Everyone's bi-polar in it. And your choices, literally, don't matter. At all, moreso than the previous two seasons.

    4. Flutterstep

      Flutterstep

Yikes. And I thought season two was bad. I hated how, despite being in control of my character, they really seemed to like characters I actually hated. Lol. It might as well have been a movie.

  24. You know those shows which have superheroes who unintentionally cause just as much harm as good without knowing it? Those group of young people you wouldn't exactly feel safe around, who take advantage of their gifts and treat them like they're toys to be played with?

That's how I picture the Human Seven. Sunset I'd feel safe around, but the others? Something tells me Sci Twi wouldn't be as entirely responsible as her equine self.

    2. Steel Accord

      Steel Accord

Likewise I'm in total agreement that SciTwi wouldn't be as careful as Twilight proper. Sure, Twilight gets enthusiastic about magic and has, in the past, abused it. Thing is, that was either out of desperation (Lesson Zero) or total ignorance of what she was doing (the cutie-mark mix-up). For the most part, Twilight studiously observes a system of practice and ethics. She knows what she's doing. In contrast, SciTwi may scientifically observe magic and want to understand it, which isn't bad, but she simply doesn't have the proper context to handle thaumaturgy the same way she does say, chemistry.

    3. Stardust Balance

      Stardust Balance

Not to mention, their pony counterparts have had years of developing and carrying their respective abilities expertly since childhood. In a world accustomed to and mastering magic, flight and other capabilities regular Equestrians are use towards, the contrast is flawlessly blatant. I'm trusting Sunset to be their guide and mentor the further they delve into their specific abilities.

But as of present, I wouldn't trust those girls to be my saviours.

    4. Macavity Wilko

      Macavity Wilko

That's why I would never leave from Sunsets side... she shall protect me

  25. This is what plays in my head whenever I read that post of yours, for some reason. :P
