    So I watched the final episode of season five. And, spoiler alert, step aside Sunset Shimmer; THAT is how you make a redemption story work.

      And I still am unable to comprehend how did she get her cutie, nor what it represents. She was just casually attempting to burgle somepony's mark, consequently unveiling her talent? Was it only related to that staff of hers? It's all too vague, and exceedingly disappointing.

      I disagree, sunset's was much more heart filled, Starlight's was just her butthurt over losing a friend to a cutie mark and couldn't get over it.

      To me, Sunset's was just plainly rushed and not thought-out, just like the rest of EQG. It was the most quickest and disbelieving redemption I've ever seen.

    That... Was... AWESOME! I mean, some elements about the episode I didn't like, andf a few things were questionable, but overall I enjoyed the whole episode. I look forward to the epic conclusion.
