the city guard were treated as heroes in the small village. Yet Pipsqueak remained unsatisfied, she knew that her parents had almost certainly perished long ago as a result of the cruel slavery they were put through, the slavery that could have been avoided if Pipsqueak had just stayed quiet... After a few weeks in town, having received little closure from defeating the frost giants, Pipsqueak decided the only way to make things right was to bring her parents back to life... Yet without magic...

Yet without magical talent, she would have to either befriend a powerful mage, or pay for the services to be done.

The amount of money it would cost is more than most people would ever see, let alone receive, throughout their entire lives, and nobody in the town would be able to perform such a feat... The only way she would be able to earn the money or meet the mage she needed was to become an adventurer, and with that, Pipsqueak packed her bags and headed south to Magnimar, to sign up with the biggest guild of adventurers in Golarion: The Pathfinders.
