    Sup bronies? As I have said before my deviant art is dedicated to my OC ponies and pony art in general. Lol I have been having a blast adding new artists and pieces and uploading some pixelated aart myself. I also have a bit of traditional art (more of that will come later)
     
    Ive been busy with my Pony Hearts. I know there are a million and one deviant art pages dedicsated to these cute little pony pic but I couldnt resist and I can guarantee that no one has the ponies that I have ^.^
     
    Ive started a Trading Card collection. The first 3 are submitted and ready for download ^.^ I plan on doing ALL OC that I create, so if you have a favorite, I suggest you snag the card associated with it. I am also offering to do OTHER'S OCs as a Thank You for supporting me and just being awesome lol I plan on actually asking a few of you for permission so if I ask ya, congrats! your OC will be a part of the first set of 10 Trading Cards. I'll credit you of course and you will have the option of allowing ponies to download your card or not. If I choose to do your Card I will send you a digital copy (via Email. Please provide a valid one) That you can keep and upload onto your own page.

    I'm writing a fan fic for the Hearts and Hooves Day contest and I already know exactly how it will go. I just have to type it... ah procrastination... how we loath thee.. anyhoo aside from that Im just drawing and designing ponies. ^.^
     
    Speaking of... Ive designed my first MALE pony heart base O.O omahgooodnesss. Yes I did it. and the first pony to be debuted upon it happens to be Smolder Bloom and Ember Blossom's father.
     
    I actually want to mention a comment I got from a fellow Pegasister. She asked me why Smolder Bloom was an Alicorn. Well... her father is an Alicorn and her mother is a Pegasus. Therefore, by luck of the genes, she came out an Alicorn. NOW I already know what some of you will say. "They turn into Alicorns magically" Yes... the cannon characters do. MINE do not. They are what they are by simple geneology. In saying that, I will make up an easy to read chart so you can see what I'm talking about. More on that later.

    Born in cloudsdale, his mother and father lied to avoid ridicule as they were some of the first ponies to breed an alicorn. His mother was a pegasus and his father was a unicorn prince. They both moved to Manehattan to raise Zephyr.
     
    How Zephyr met Dew Rose:
     
    ~ The Calm Before The Storm... ~
     
    Zephyr had been flying over the valley between Neighagra Falls and Foal Mountain when he heard soft crying. He landed and searched for the pony in distress and found a young, soft- rose colored mare. Her head was down. As she wept, greyish clouds started to form above the clearing.
     
    Zephyr spoke to her, "Don't cry miss... I'm sure everything will be just fine. Why don't we get to shelter before the storm rolls in?"
     
    The female looked up at him and sniffled, then her gaze turned icey; "Shut-up! What do you know?... I dont care if it rains... I want it to rain!"
     
    In that instant the sjy unloaded its wet burden in fat droplets. Zephyr squinted to see the mare as she gazed up at the sky, wings outspread and welcoming. He dared to step closer, his heart pounding. This storm felt weird... different. It felt provoked, as if it had hurt feelings and as suddenly lashing out.
     
    Winds whipped the rain across Zephyr's face as he got closer to the pink pony. She seemed to be the one causing the liquid onslaught.
     
    "Are you doing this?" He asked, watching the not grey-black clouds swirl. The rain pelted him harder, soaking him, and he loved it. He glanced at the mare again to find her deep purple eyes staring at him. He offered a smile and inclined his head bravely. She dared to blush, breifly hiding her face with a wing.
     
    Zephyr bowed to the mare, then rose his horn to the sky. His horn vibrated, glowed white before a bolt of pure electricity shot from the tip and into the storm clouds. It manifested again as flashes of color. He watched the show a moment before a soft gasp drew his attention. The female stood absolutely still, watching the storm they had created with awe filled wonder.
     
    Zephyr spoke again, "What is your name?"
    The mare answered, "My name Dew.. Dew Rose.."
    She pulled her eyes from the sky to stare again. Zephyr forced himself to speak again, as he was stunned silent by her beauty. "My name is Zephyr Bluegrass. Most just call me blue or Zeph.."
     
    He smiled at her and she returned it, moving closer to him. In that moment both ponies recieved their cutie marks. His a manifested as a storm cloud, while her's revealed itself as three drops of water.
     
    Dew tucked herself under Zephyr's chin with ease and sighed happily. He couldn't believe how perfect she fit in his embrace...
     
    How Zephyr secured his family's future:
     
    ~ Turbine Terror ~
     
    One hot summer day the turbines at Neighagra Falls ceased to turn. It cut off all the water and electricity to 80% of Equestria. Ponies were passing out from heat exhaustion. No one could fix the problem and it only got hotter that day.
     
    Dew encouraged Zephyr to and "shock the system", explaining that the machines ran off a giant electrical computer system (In my world they have a little more modern technology) A good jolt could reboot everything and get the turbines moving again.
     
    This is exactly what Zephyr did, saving the ponies from a scorching summer. He was granted the "Key to the City" by The Princesses, thus securing his family's future. They would want for nothing from that day on. Zephyr had been named head electrician for all of Equestria.
     
    [Present Day]
    Zephyr and his family reside in a cabin style mansion near Neighagra Falls. He works on the turbines that keep the water-powered electricity working safely and efficiently.

    *Big sigh* Wow Ive been busy. Ok since I sort of briefly touched on what Ive been doing in my status, I figured I'd do a quick blog and get everyone caught up.
     
    First of all I want to thank my PR for approaching me and giving me an opportunity to use my skills for an actual purpose lol. I am looking forward to working along side the creators of Trixy Sparkle. I loved the fan made video. I'm thoroughly excited.

    As you can see in my post I have created a Pony Heart Trading Card. I was experimenting and decided to do something for my friends and fans. I'll be doing my female OCs and they will be available for "Adoption" on my DA (Deviant Art) It's just a way to say "Thank You" for your support and kindness. The pony hearts themselves I may upload if I get a good response. Maybe later on I'll share my bases. We will see, In any case I hope you all enjoy the small gifts ^.^ Ill be opening my OC Shop soon as well, once I get everything settled and flowing nicely. Most likely after I finish my assignment for TS. I'll leave a status announcement for that.
     
    My laptop broke So I am using my stallion's HP Mini. Not quite what I'm used to but it will work for now. I cant wait to get a new full sized comp.     Double Digits Never Looked So Good...
     
    A 5'5" size 22 landed the deal of a life time. London-based Milk Model Management signed the 29 year-old, tatted bombshell, Tess Holliday, "making her the largest plus-size fashionista to ever land a major modeling contract." Amazing. Now this is why we persist as women lol.
     
    However, all is not sunshine and rainbows for Tess, who had been bullied in school for her size. Even now she endures harsh comments on her instagram pictures. People blatantly call her names and spew comments behind the safety of their comp. screens. (pathetic) In any case, Tess fires back with inspiring messages under her pictures.
     
    “I hope this makes you realize that it's okay to be yourself, even if you happen to exist in a fat body,”
     
    The agency that signed her, nurses this attitude by implementing their motto,"... no two models are alike and we tailor our approach to suit each individual.” Finally someone gets it. We are not all the same. TBH IF you look hard enough twins aren't exactly the same either. I challenge you to find twins that look alike. OVER the age of 18. Most twins want to have their own separate entities by then. They don't necessarily like looking like each other. We are hardwired to WANT to be different.
     
    Tess Holliday is different, and in a beautifully way.

    Shape Magazine has really done it now. A woman by the name of Brooke Birmingham, lost an astounding 172 lbs. She was to be featured in its pages. Upon interviewing the 28 year-old woman, and getting her to send a photo of herself to accompany the article, they rejected her. They suggested she put on a shirt. -_-
     
    “My editors were hoping you could send over a different after photo. (You look ah-mazing, of course, but they are looking to include one with a shirt),” Birmingham’s contact wrote.
     
    The front page of the site boasts at least 5 women in (barely there) T shirts and crop tops, posing in rather sexual poses. a small paragraph can be seen along the heavily photo-shopped "dream girls." It reads:

    Birmingham responded to their claims on her own website http://brookenotonadiet.com/2014/05/02/refuse-put-shirt/ Saying, “Really? Have you logged on to Shape’s website lately?” she wrote. “You can find MANY women in bikinis on the site.”
     
    All manipulated to look perfect whilst lying to us saying, "Shape gives instantly useful techniques to... trim fat." Ok so I use your little method. Obviously the results they claim you can get are not possible. Birmingham agreed. When she refused to do the feature, she blogged about the experience on her instead.
     
    “This is the type of body they should have featured, because it can give people hope,” she wrote. “Hope that they can lose weight healthfully and even if they don’t end up with airbrushed abs of steel, they’re gorgeous and shouldn’t be ashamed of whatever imperfection they believe they have.”
     
    Truth. Im going to be writing about something like this in my fanfiction. (spoiler :3) A little filly learns its ok to be different. That she should appreciate and respect her beauty. This article was something I just stumbled upon in my search for something else (may blog about it later.. lol) and I had to stop and read it. ( I'll link the article below) 172 ponds is alot of weight. I commend this woman on her achievements. I know its not easy to commit like that.

    I had to blog this because it was a brilliant thread and I felt it was a great way to spread this very well written and heart wrenching song. If anyone has a vet in their life, they should listen to this song. When I heard it for the first time I cried; I was so moved.
     
    Yes it is a rock song (one of my favorite bands and genres) But the message transcends all walks of life that listen to music.
     
    Every day men and women sacrifice themselves for our freedom and yet we do nothing to repay them. We expect them to just keep fighting. But what we don't realize is that they are human. They are affected by our negligence and as a result they die. They don't believe anyone cares.
     
    I want so badly to prove them wrong.They protect our country. Now its time WE protected THEM.

    Last night I was up till 1:30 in the morning, typing profiles and rendering ponies. I had fun, don't get me wrong. I enjoy making ponies. In fact I'm about done with the cast that I'm featuring in my fan fiction. Ive actually started writing the story and Im about 3/4 of the way through the first chapter. Yaay. So ill be announcing that soon and posting it on FiMFanfiction.
     
    If you follow my blog Ill leave the link in that entry. I'm extremely happy for the way these profiles turned out. Im even more ecstatic that I figured out how to apply cutie marks. The ponies were looking a bit bare and unfinished. I use MSPaint for my ponies and I haven't used the actual program in about 4 years so I literally had to reteach myself the tricks and secrets of the application.
     
    To be honest I use MSPaint more than I use my advanced paint program (Im making adoptables with that program) I found that MSP gives me more control over color placement. Go figure right? lol The more advanced application doesn't have a curve/line tool and I find it easier to layer using MSP. Yes I said layer lol. How do you think I got the cutie marks to work?
     
    Anyhoo that's all that Ive been up to lately. I cant wait to give a sneak peak of the fanfiction. I think you all will enjoy what I have in store. As always please don't hesitate to leave me feedback. I encourage it! I hope to open my OC shop once I have the fanfic and all my own OCs completed.     Glam got her mark after one day styling a very special pony's mane. The mare needed something fancy but not too frilly and she needed it done fast. Glam managed to transform the pony from a tomboy to a total hottie in minutes. The mare gasped at her transformation and in that moment a prism appeared on Glam's flank, representing the many colors she loved to use. Following her successful makeover, word spread of Glam's skills and soon everypony wanted their mane done by her. Ecstatic, Glam moved to Ponyville to be closer to her regular clientele.

    Mistral got his mark when he was commissioned to do a family portrait of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. He was discovered sketching whilst relaxing near the river. The Princess was on her daily walk-about when she noticed a pony all by himself. Seemingly sad, if only slightly. She approached the young colt and asked him how he was doing.
     
    As he replied she noticed his sketch of the river, a replica of the panoramic view with an air of incompleteness. She asked if he did a lot of portraits because his skills are extraordinary. He said he did do the, but they were more candid sketches of ponies at work and play. Nothing Major. The Princess insisted he render her a painting of herself and her little sister, Luna. He obliged,though nervous beyond comprehension.
     
    The painting took half of the following day but he did complete it, much to the immense satisfaction of BOTH Princesses. It was at that moment his mark revealed itself. A paint palette displaying a rainbow of colors. Pending that encounter, Mistral moved from Ponyville to pursue his craft.

    I almost killed the post editor... My in-post pictures disappeared so once again I have completely re-edited the OC Blog. It now has "photos" of the ponies on the "front" of the posts and features an image off to the left inside the post itself. Cool but not ideal. however I cannot do much about it and it could be worse, right? :okiedokielokie:
     
    Anyhoo, all the posts now have their respective images and have been edited to also include an "Allegiance" section. I added this section so that once I introduce the fanfiction I'm working on, everything will make sense and the ponies themselves will make sense. More on that later. Speaking of fanfictions, First let me say I have read a couple of my fellow brony's works and I must say I am impressed and honored to be amongst such talent. Furthermore I have managed to outline the first part of the first chapter. I'm introducing a completely new cast. The Mane 6 and King Sombra will be featured to help carry the story but the main focus will be on the 24 pony cast that I have managed to create. lol yes I know "Thatsalotta Ponies!" but I assure you it will all be well in the end. Bear with me
     
    The story I am writing I have loosely modeled after a Dean Koontz novel I just got finished reading. (Dean Koontz' 77th Street) Now when I say "model" I mean I have identified the structure of which the story was built upon and I stand to mimic that style. The story will seem to jump from one pony to the next. That's because it is, but with each "leap" the previous information given will make more and more sense to which the ending will completely shock you because you wont see it coming. Each "jump" is a cliff hanger, seeming to "fade to black" every time. This keeps the reader suspended in a state of "what happens next?" causing one to want to keep reading. I will make this a page turner for you Bronies. I just hope you enjoy reading it as much as I am enjoying creating it for you.

    I'm finally finished with the four profiles I had planned on up-loading today. Diamond Peaches and her brother Gypsy Daydreamer, Prickle Bush, and Toffee Walnut. These four ponies have families and friends, so stay tuned in to be the first to view their Profiles! I can honestly say its been a blast creating these characters and I'm very thankful for all the great feedback from my peers. Please do NOT hesitate to give me constructive criticism as it is important to me to get my ponies right. No matter how long it takes. To do that I need the opinions of my audience. Id love to see the comments on the profiles instead of my status, but whichever you do is fine.
     
    I am ankle deep in ponies and I love it and I want you all to like it as much as I do. I hope (with your help) That I can create a "cast" that will be memorable. That makes the stories come alive. If a character falls flat let me know. Give me suggestions on how you think it could be better and I will do my best to edit and improve the character in question.
     
    The story I plan on writing is already starting to unfold within the history of each pony. I tried to give a glimpse into their world and how they work with each [History] section, so these sections are most critical to me. If they don't make sense then the character wont make sense. I don't want that to happen. If I can improve it I will. I plan to start the first chapter of my fan fiction after I have completed all of the 22 pony cast. YES i said 22. So this journey I plan to take on will be long and tedious.. but worth it if I can manage to inject a small fraction of joy and entertainment into my time here with all of you. If I can make a Brony smile, Ive done my job.

Of course Toff was scolded, but following that incident, his cutie mark appeared. It was an exact copy of the real one he played with everyday.

    I didn't get much done today. I managed to post my mane OC. The formatting got screwed up but hey whatever. it worked out. I was still able to upload the picture with the profile so I cant complain. I may approach it different though and use the up-loader to add pics directly inside the post. That way I can manipulate where the image actually is instead of relying on the fixed point of the "Entry Image" option. That option may work if I'm posting just an image and a few words but not for profiles. As it is I may go back and redo my mane as it does bother me that the format isn't right. I guess that's just my OCD kicking in..
     

     
    Oh well at least I can say that its done. All I have to do is reformat instead of retyping the whole thing. I'd die if I had to do that. As it is it took me an hour to figure out how to post text and uploaded images. Hopefully I'm correct in the new method or posting will take way longer than I expected.

    I think Diamond may be one of my favorites. I had a blast fleshing her and her family out. I know her mark doesn't make sense with her name, but I like it that way. Not everything has to match else wise things get boring and uninteresting. Diamond is quite the dynamic pony and I hope you all come to like her. She has a twin brother named Gypsy Daydreamer and together they get into shenanigans with their friends.
     
    Let me note that I have used the names of Background Ponies within their friends list. This does not mean that I own those particular ponies. It just means that my characters are friends with those characters. Nothing more. Think of them as a fillers since I don't have enough OCs yet and the mane 6 get overused. (Doesn't mean I don't adore them. Just means it gets redundant) I'm sure Bronies will appreciate the fact that I'm giving some faceless ponies a little bit of limelight.

    This topic has been debated for days. I agree with some ponies but not all obviously. Cork brings up a fantastic point. Furries are NOT considered a fandom. They are considered a sub-culture and for some folks a way of life.
     
    By definition In the simplest sense; furries are fans of anthropomorphic animals. That is, described or thought of as having a human form or human attributes.
     
    Attributes are a quality or characteristic inherent in or ascribed to someone or something. Speech ( which is the only human element to the ponies) is NOT an attribute by definition.
     
    Therefore Bronies cannot be furries unless their Ponysona has been anthropomorphized. AKA made to be human. This is apparent in the Equestria Girls not surprising. Now if you wish to call yourself a furry then so be it. That is your opinion. I hope the "labelers" read this and educate themselves.

    I have finally completed typing up the template I will use for my characters. I am using a detailed template to flesh out the ponies as much as possible. Two more elements for the current pony. She has no parents. Only a brother. But I want her to have parents. Ive set up a poll for the name of her Father as I cannot decide which Stallion to use. Maybe you Bronies can help me decide which sounds better. His Daughter's name is Diamond Peaches. This pony has no friends! Id like to give her some. Her only friend now is her brother, Gypsy Daydreamer. Gypsy has no friends at the moment either besides his sister. Once I create their parents then all of you can formerly "meet the family." So please lend me a hoof! Tomorrow I should have atleast 6-8 OCs ready to post. lol I KNOW ITS A LOT but I have a method to all my madness. Bear with me. Three families are to be done tomorrow. Ill be breaking those down as I go so try to keep up. Until I can upload my own art I will continue to make Vector versions of my ponies with the pony maker fore mentioned. While I do not own the graphics provided I do have the rights to Names and Information provided with my OC's Please note any name I hereby mention from this day forward will be of my own creation.     This first post wont be much unfortunately, however I will say that I will try and update this particular blog often. I plan on creating multiple blogs so please stay tuned for that.
     
    Now as for this current post Id like to give anyone reading this a little extra glimpse into my world. I am a generous Brony. I love making things for people so I do plan on starting a request shop once I upload some OCs and garner the communities reaction to my style. I prefer a mixed medium of colored pencils and markers (mostly pencils). I find colored pencil to work better for blending color and getting it smooth. If any fellow brony asked me to do an OC you can bet it will be done using the fore-mentioned medium. I will do my best on backgrounds and mutiple-character scenes but I will warn all now I am better at portraits for profile use. I can do dynamic poses if desired.
     
     
    So here I am today, freshly dubbed a Brony (which I am very honored and proud to say) hoping to share my gift and make some friends who share my love for ponies and art. If you're curious about me my About Me page pretty much sums me up. My friends say I am funny, caring, generous, protective, and patient. Please don't take my kindness for weakness as I do not take kindly to cyber bullies. I have literally shut down plenty of trolls who chose to stalk the internet and wreak mayhem. I won't hesitate here either. All trolls have been warned.
     
    If we become good friends, I promise to always honor and acknowledge you. I'll give you the same respect you give me. I don't say this for kicks, I truly mean it and I want my future friends to be aware of how I operate. No surprises.
