      It already has bought up most of the Rare Earth Material quarries :P (Rare Earth is used for example to make computers, TV and more electronics).

      Flee to Iceland?.... wait, they were trying to buy a piece of land here and wanted to build a luxurious hotel and a golf course :P. Well, as soon as we find oil in the Drekasvæði (The Dragon Territory), Iceland will become the war zone of USA and Russia (possibly China as well, but then everyone else would back down :P).
