  1. Tyra wasted no time in trotting up to Lorec's side, walking alongside him with a spring in her step that caused the wings on her helmet to flap. She was clearly as energetic as ever. "Why, the challenge, of course!" She answered, puffing out her small chest with pride. "I had heard many rumours in my travels about this mountain and its trials, and how few had passed them. I wish to challenge these trials, and carve my name into history!" She smirked with determination as she clenched her hoof. "This will be another part of my legend!"
  2. Gridia hopped back as the new mare emerged from the ceiling, with a... peculiar looking pony behind her. Well... the pony wasn't so much a pony as it was seemingly some kind of insane construction experiment that somehow sprang to life. Knew it, another stand, she deadpanned in her head. Though, upon seeing the mare's violent stance, she held up her talons defensively. "Whoa, whoa, I'm not after you. I don't even know who you are!" Jailbreak reemerged from the griffon, the breezie fluttering closer to the mare to give her a look. "Check it, I got one too."
  3. Gridia stared as Straight Arrow fell... through the ground. How did that even work? "Did... did I do that? Or was that him?" She looked at Jailbreak, and the two just shrugged. She looked over to the other room to hear Filthy Rich's voice, then looked up at Stardust. "Sounds like a plan," she said with a nod, "I'll let you know if Frosty the Snowcolt shows back up."
  4. Gridia's eyes widened as she saw Stardust deck Straight Arrow across the face, sending him careening across the room and landing in a heap on the floor. At her ally's question she smirked and hopped up to hover in the air, Jailbreak emerging next to her. "We'd be delighted." She zipped toward Straight Arrow, attempting to try out that bullet punch move Stardust had taught her. "RRRAAHHH!!" she squawked.
  5. Tyra blinked up at Radiant as he told the group they could rest if they wished, while he confronted Celestia alone. There was sadness in her eyes, but at the same time, a glint of defiance. She couldn't allow him to take all the responsibility. "Blizzard, go and rest in that tent," she murmured to the ice wolf, and nodded to one of the tents. The wolf obediently trotted over and laid down in front of the tent. The mare then followed Radiant inside to face Celestia, her head dipped as well. "Nay, we failed."
  6. "Well, they'd certainly have the hunger in their eyes, yes?" Indus explained, and nodded to one of the posters. "Though looks can be deceiving, but on the other hoof, that mare may simply be a victim of circumstance." He rubbed an ankle on his jacket, dusting it slightly. "Hence why I offer my assistance in discovering the truth."
  7. (Don't worry about it, take all the time you need ) Gridia scowled at the Stand, hearing Straight Arrow's cocky voice coming from it. It was going to freeze everyone alive if she and Stardust didn't get out of there. "Or," she growled, clacking her beak in challenge, "we could kick the crud out of you and warm down that way."
  8. Gridia blinked down at the... 'cool' little ice pony under the table. She had no idea where he came from or why he was doing it, but she had to admit, she liked his look. She got upright and nodded at Stardust's info, deciding not to question how he knew all about it. Though, she was happy to accept Helter Skelter was indeed a Stand. However, she didn't like that look Straight Arrow was giving them, so she poised herself to strike if she had to.
  9. "Oh, I just had a look at the thief's picture," Indus responded without missing a beat, "and I became curious. The mare in that picture doesn't look the 'thief' type, if you ask me." He glanced up toward the museum. "I don't suppose I'd be allowed inside to assist with the investigation?"
  10. I totally get it, I vividly remember things I did from when I was, like, 7 that I still haven't gotten over after about 16 years But the way I see it, it's helped me learn not to make similar mistakes, and I like to think I've become a better person because of it Still, both those things still strike when I don't expect them
  11. Gridia snickered as Diamond's mother snapped in shock from her daughter's simple asking of a question. She was starting to like this kid. Though, a shiver escaped her as she felt the room getting... colder? And were those snowflakes? What the heck...? The night rolled on, and Gridia could swear she felt snow on her paws. What was even happening? Too curious, she peeked under the table...
  12. Gridia was more than content to chew on the sausages as Filthy Rich's wife and daughter went on and on about whatever. They were a bit burnt, but it was refreshing to finally taste some meat again since leaving home. Though, the atmosphere changed when Straight Arrow showed up. She knew right away that she didn't like him. And she could tell nopony else did either. The wife was nothing like she looked in the photo - she was worse. A live performance certainly beats a photo, that's for sure. She could actually feel daggers in her eyes when she fixed her angrily condescending stare at the griffon. Though, she had to admit she might have misjudged the filly. She snickered at her sass. "Good kid you've got there." She then looked at Straight Arrow, and decided if no one else would ask, she would. "So, what's your story then?"
  13. Gridia smirked with pride at Stardust's praise, then nodded at his plan. "Nightfall, rich pony's place. Got it." She took the petition and read it, then slowly blinked at the header. "...salmons?" After a few moments, she shrugged and put her name to it before handing it back. "Eh, I like me some fish."
  14. Gridia nodded and sat down, watching Stardust's demonstration of his big punchy move thing. It was definitely a cool move, and she'd certainly like to master it. She watched closely, and summoned Jailbreak before getting her own wooden plank. "I, uh... don't have to make that noise, do I?" she asked, before she began attacking the plank with Jailbreak. "GRRRAHH!!"
  15. Gridia gave Filthy Rich a mock salute as she left with Stardust, wondering what it would be like to fight a vampire. Albeit a fake one, in this instance. "So this guy pretends to be a vampire?" She asked, smirking. "Sounds like an attention seeker, if you ask me." She took a few moments before asking something else. "So what's the plan? If we see this guy?"
  16. Gridia blinked up at Stardust. "Maybe he's a beginner vampire. Has to do a rite of passage to earn the fangs or something." She smirked cheekily. She took the photo and took a look closer at it. Indeed, the pony looked relatively normal. She wasn't so trusting of that grin of his. She looked up at Stardust again. "You think it's safe? Him seeing you, I mean."
  17. Gridia raised an eyebrow at Filthy Rich's explanation of the mask. Acupuncture to unlock parts of the brain you don't use? Interesting in theory... but she doubted that was a pleasant experience. Or beneficial. However, she had to stop herself from snickering at his description of Straight Arrow. "Can't eat garlic, drinks blood, pops up at night," she reiterated, "what does that sound like to you, Richy?"
  18. @@The Cerberus @@Wolves @@Bubbletea @@P-Jay Owlheart turned to Slumberfur, eyes narrowed in warning. But the glare wasn't meant for his Clanmate. "For their sake, they should be very truthful. Lies have nearly torn the Clans apart many times before." He turned back to Amberpaw. "Are you paying attention?" he meowed, sounding a little irritable. The scent of WindClan wafted through his senses, but he thought nothing of it. They were at the border after all. ...although, he could swear he was catching the scent of another. A scent he hadn't recognised. He kept quiet, waiting to see if anyone else could catch it.
  19. Gridia just gave Filthy Rich a greeting gesture as Stardust introduced himself, and she immediately went to poking around the living room while the two ponies talked. Some of the photos were old, but most of them were of this rich pony with a mare whose face looked like she'd lost a fight with a minotaur and was planning her revenge, and a pink filly who wore an expression more fitting a criminal mastermind than a schoolfilly. Something tells me this stallion is the most reasonable of the family. She looked over her shoulder at Filthy while she plucked at the guitar strings. "So what'd he tell you about that mask?"
  20. Gridia nodded, and stretched her talons tiredly. "Yeah, after all that, I could sleep." The idea of interrogating a really rich pony sounded like a great idea to her, for some reason. "Hey, maybe he'll bribe us to keep Arrow blackmailing him a secret," she snickered.
  21. Gridia leaned over to get a look at the file, and nodded at the picture of the pony. "Yeah, I've seen him before. Just on magazine covers and billboards and stuff. Owns a department store or something." She looked up at Stardust, regarding his question. "What do you think he wants him for? Money, dear boy." She prodded the photo with a talon. "Look at him, he's got a money sign tie and his cutie mark is a few bags of money. Heck, his name's Filthy Rich. Who isn't gonna wanna fleece a few bits off him?"
  22. "I see," Indus muttered, raising an eyebrow. With very little public information, they obviously don't want any acts of vigilantism. "I did indeed see the posters around town, but I was wondering if the local guard could provide me with more information. Anything to do with this criminal pony, and perhaps to see if she and the theft are indeed connected."
  23. Gridia smirked as the little sub thing broke into pieces thanks to Stardust, and he took the file out of the little rocket by the door. "And another one bites the dust," she snickered, dusting herself off and picking up his hat, putting it on her own head, "so what's in that file?" She hadn't thought about the fact that about a dozen ponies had seen the two of them fighting thin air.
  24. Gridia blinked as the torpedo shot directly for her face, but thanks to Jailbreak, she was more than ready to react. With as much care as possible, she tilted the missile in hopes that its trajectory would arc over and return to where it came from. If it worked, the attack would just round back onto the... sub thing. She looked down at her shirt again, and wondered if this Stand was just making fun of her.
