  1. @@Bubbletea @@The Cerberus @@Wolves ThunderClan Territory, WindClan Border Owlheart continued to mark the border lines with the Clan's scent, expecting Slumberfur was assisting and Amberpaw was at least paying attention. "We renew the scent markers every morning," he explained to his apprentice, "so if another Clan intrudes, they will have no excuse." He was taking his time with the markers, waiting for a WindClan patrol to pass by so he could ask them what happened with RiverClan.
  2. Tyra entered the camp with the group, glancing around at the refugees. A pain began to form in her chest from the look of them. "I hope none of them were from Canterlot," she murmured to her friends, "and I do not wish to see Celestia's reaction to what has happened, yes?" Blizzard gave her master a reassuring lick on the cheek, feeling her bleakness.
  3. "A break-in? Interesting," Indus muttered, trying his best to play the part of an oblivious and curious bystander, "and, if I may, what exactly was stolen? And do you have any idea who the guilty party could be?" He also thought it might be wise to get on their good side. "Perhaps I may provide some assistance?"
  4. Gridia just slowly blinked at the mare's response. "...okay, so it wasn't you then." She turned around to see the submarine emerge once again, with that annoyingly posh Trottingham accent mocking her from inside. "Why don't you come outta your cute little can before I pry it open," she dared, Jailbreak emerging from her as challenge.
  5. Gridia stepped back from Stardust's outburst, still not used to his sudden rage when he was usually all cool. "Now now," she muttered, "think of your blood pressure." She watched as Stardust did his thing, and the little periscope thing emerged from the water to reveal a yellow submarine thing. "...you've gotta be kidding me." She blinked as it struck Stardust in the face, and she saw the chuckling mare. Far too used to this already, she just pointed a talon at her. "It's her. She's doing it." she deadpanned.
  6. That didn't fill Star with confidence. Either this area had less survivors than she'd hoped, or it was too overrun with walkers to even try to look. Nonetheless, she indulged Ice's curiosity. "Looking for supplies as well. I'm running out of food back at my base."
  7. The Great War was Match of the Night at Bound For Glory I will not hear otherwise
  8. Gridia nodded slightly at Stardust's description of his... uncle. That still seemed weird in her head. She entered the post office with him, and blinked as the floor was completely wet. Some kind of raincloud problem or something. Honestly, pegasi have this power and this is what they do with it. Though, she couldn't fault them - she would too if she was bored enough. She gently splashed her talon in the water idly until she caught sight of the shadow slinking underneath the thin layer of water. A small sigh and a roll of her eyes acted as response. "I wonder what that could be." she deadpanned.
  9. Star nodded and returned the firm handshake. "Likewise. Smart move to lock yourself in here." She took a look around the room, putting her hands on her hips. "Though, I doubt I'm the only living visitor you've had. You have any trouble with crazed survivors?"
  10. Star raised an eyebrow at that response. Nobody could be that skilled just based on something like luck. Perhaps he had something to hide? If he did, she decided not to question it. It worked, and she wanted him on her side. "Officer Star Crest," she introduced herself, "patrol officer."
  11. Gridia blinked, raising an eyebrow at the explanation, then hovers after Stardust as he trots to the post office. "You have... an interesting family, dude," she deadpanned, then took a look around herself before answering, "so, how's he gonna help us find this Straight Arrow guy?" She was curious to know what he did in his 70s, but she decided not to ask.
  12. Gridia took the photo and examined the pony on it while Stardust explained who it was. And the more information she got, the more unbelievable it became. ...is this guy high? "This is your uncle?" She repeated incredulously. "No offence, but a few years ago or not, this guy looks younger than you." Did have a nice smile though.
  13. Star leaned her back against the wall, catching her breath as she looked up at... of course. He had to be a student at the high school. "Who... are you?" She gasped, wiping sweat off her brow. "And where did you learn all of that? The reflexes and knife throwing. You don't look nearly old enough to be military, and I know you weren't at the police academy."
  14. Star had to think quickly to keep up with this guy's swift movements. She leaped on his signal, and sprinted alongside him toward... somewhere. How was he so cool and collected, despite all that was going on and how young he looked? He had to be professionally trained, but how?
  15. Star blinked as she managed to get a better look at this new figure... a guy, looking a few years younger than her, she assumed. She watched, amazed at how precise his knife throwing was. Was he trained? She never saw him at the police academy, and he looked far too young to be military. She wanted to reach for her gun, but she didn't dare let go of the cart this crazy man had stuck her to. So she headed his advice and didn't let go.
  16. Star just watched, in a mix of intrigue and utter confusion, as the figure hopped into a shopping cart and rolled themselves toward her. She blinked at the sight, then for some reason felt compelled to do what she was told. Holstering her gun, she gingerly grabbed onto the cart handle.
  17. Star squinted her eyes, and indeed she saw someone disguising themselves in a bush and wielding a combat knife. Very retro. Walkers couldn't use weapons... perhaps this was a potential ally? It was worth a shot. If they attacked, then it was worth a gunshot. "Um, excuse me...?" She murmured.
  18. Gridia widened her eyes, pupils diluted in disbelief. "We're what?" That evening, she listened in to Stardust's plan, and watched him hand Jet Set a box with holes in it. So what, Jet was disguising himself as somepony's new pet hamster or something? She raised her claw. "Yeah I got a question. What's the post office going to do for us exactly?"
  19. Star swore under her breath as she took in the number of walkers along the front doors. There were far too many to take on - even if she did manage to down them all, the gunshots would no doubt attract even more, and she'd be pinned down or worse. Though, the strange noise got her attention as well. Metal tearing flesh apart? Walkers couldn't use weapons... She looked in the direction of the sound...
  20. Gridia blinked as Jet Set appeared out of nowhere, and she nodded at him. "Sup, speedy." She looked at Stardust and listened to the next part of his plan. Another file in town hall for Jet to pick up, and he wanted her to go with him for... something. "Got nothing better to do," she shrugged and got off her chair, "what's the plan for us?"
  21. Star jumped from the shriek, and instinctively went for the holster on her belt, pointing her gun in the direction it came from. It was a standard issue police pistol, but it served her well so far. "What the...?" She murmured, and looked all around her for any signs of life... or unlife. Though, the coast still seemed to be clear, so she kept going to the supermarket, keeping her gun on hand just in case.
  22. While Summer glided toward the museum, Indus nonchalantly walked his way there. He kept making occasional stops to look in shop windows, to look less interested in getting there in a hurry. Once he had arrived, he saw the museum was heavily guarded around the entrance, and he figured there would be no harm in an innocent bystander checking what was happening. "Excuse me, sirs," he spoke up to the guards, "may I inquire as to why the museum is closed?"
  23. ThunderClan Territory Owlheart led the small patrol toward the WindClan border, keeping his eyes and ears open for any suspicious activity. WindClan cats were fast, but ThunderClan was wary. "Okay, watch closely," he instructed Amberpaw, then padded up to a tree to rub his paws against it, "mark our Clan's scent on the borders, like this."
  24. Gridia watched the pink pony zip into the store and back out with what she'd ordered. She nodded a thanks and started munching on it while listening to Stardust, as well as vaguely wondering if Jet was working today. She blinked as he concluded his read. "A vampire? Well this just escalated." She muttered nonchalantly. Though, she got this irritable itch from Stardust, one that made her shudder a bit. "Um, alright. So where does that leave me?"
