  1. "You'd be surprised how often it happens," Oliver admitted, rolling his eyes. "Humans can be really nasty sometimes, but I hope you never find out first hand." He looked at Jenna. "Though, I'm sure you'd do fine."
  2. "Yeah," Oliver agreed, "espcially when they're all dressed like that and armed with swords and stuff." He bit his lip. "I don't get it though; what could they want here? And don't they know what the military has?"
  3. "Well, you certainly weren't faking that injury when we first met," Oliver said, looking up at Jenna. "At least, I don't think you were. Though, considering you're a massive firebreathing dragon, I'm willing to believe anything right now."
  4. Oliver gulped and moved closer to Jenna. "Yeah, I don't really wanna go in there either. Especially if it's something that makes whatever they are want to come to our world." He looked at the phone. "I just wonder what they're here for."
  5. Oliver nodded. "Well, not a lot is better than none at all, so it would do for an emergency." He looked at Jenna, surprise on his face. "You know where to get weapons? I didn't know you used them."
  6. "I guess I am," Oliver muttered, blushing as he looked at himself. "I always thought I was the other way around, but it makes sense." He shrugged. "I guess it's not all that weird. I just wonder where they're coming from."
  7. "That's pretty scary," Oliver admitted, feeling his heart race at the thought. "Hopefully I can get a gun or something. I'm sure at least one of them has to have one, right?" He looked up at Jenna, putting a hand on her scales.
  8. "Good idea," Oliver agreed, and looked at the same picture with the red circle. His eyes widened and his mouth shut once he figured out what it could be. "Zombies are real?" he muttered. "Does that mean vampires and werewolves too or something?"
  9. "Well, I can drive and ride bikes and stuff like that," Oliver said, "and I've been told I'm a fast learner. If I have a chance to learn how to fight, I'll take it. Apparently I'm pretty good at surviving gunshots too," he joked.
  10. Oliver looked closer, squinting at the screen. He was having some difficulty making out what the people in the footage were wearing. "Are they wearing helmets?" he asked. "And I think they have swords too."
  11. "Well, I hope I can do more than just be someone you have to look out for," Oliver admitted, frowning a little. "I don't want you to get hurt or captured or something because of me getting in the way."
  12. Oliver grinned, glad he was able to be more useful, and leaned over Jenna's shoulder to look at her phone. "Maybe some new videos have come up since the last one?" he wondered, tilting his head quizzically.
  13. Oliver shrugged. "I just think you're not giving yourself enough credit, especially after doing so much before you even met me." He smiled up at Jenna. "I just hope I can pull my weight. Last thing I want to do is slow you down."
  14. "I just mean they haven't gotten here," Oliver said, blushing. "But yeah, me too. Whatever that was, I really didn't like it." He bit his lip. "I just wonder what those things even are, or what they can do."
  15. "Even so," Oliver said, "I'm sure you'd come up with a way to at least get away from them. You seem like the type to have a plan ready for any situation." He smiled at her. "If you can't outfight them, you can always outsmart them."
  16. Oliver smiled and followed Jenna back inside, watching as she crafted a bench. He sat down beside her and looked around, rying to think of ways to help her out. "Certainly doesn't smell like any of those things have been here," he said.
  17. "But you're still really smart, and strong as well," Oliver pointed out, smiling at Jenna. "You've gotten this far, especially without my help, so I'm sure you'll think of something the next time we come across them.
  18. "I'm sure you'll think of something quick," Oliver said, smiling at Jenna. "You're really creative with your powers, so I know you'll come up with somehing in no time." He was trying to think as well, but he wasn't sure how far Jenna's powers could go.
  19. "And you're really smart, so I bet you'd have a few strategies ready just in case one of them does show up again," Oliver assured Jenna, smiling at her. "I just think you're more on top of things than you seem to think you are."
  20. Oliver looked around at the things dumped all over the warehouse as he listened to Jenna. Something faster than ladders, but didn't take as much material as stairs. He looked at her. "What about an elevator?"
  21. "Just because they like to avoid fighting doesn't mean they can't fight," Oliver pointed out. "And if you were trained to be like them, then that means you know all their strategies and stuff like that, right?"
  22. Oliver looked at Jenna, tilting his head quizzically. He could tell she was thinking hard, and had something of an idea cooking in her head. He was wondering what it might be. "You got an idea?" he asked.
  23. Jade stared Rokata down, noting the deep gash she made in his horn. Good, she did some damage. I've never felt like this before. Hurting Rokata so badly... why does it feel so right? I thought you could use an extra edge to help you along. You did some real damage to his horn. Indeed, I thought he would have healed it by now... unless...? Her blank eyes widened slightly. It seems you've realised the same. Let's hope it to be true, then. She sped toward Rokata again, this time varying her strikes. Kicks aimed at his jaw and joints, chops attempting to snap limb, strikes aimed at his horns once more.
  24. "Well still," Oliver said, "having more on our side will help. If you can take on a few of those guys alone, imagine what a whole lot of you could do. You'd be able to fight them off easy, especially with some older ones."
