  1. Oliver nodded, a grin on his face from the idea. "Oh, that works for me. I can bring some stuff with me, no problem." He had fun training with Jenna last time, so of course he was eager to do it again.
  2. Oliver nodded and put his own bag beside Jenna's. He stretched out his arms, a little stiff from so much driving. He looked over her shoulder at the map, curious. "Where are we meant to go after this?"
  3. Oliver smiled at the suggestion. He did like walking with her, so he'd be happy to do some more of it. "Yeah, we can do that. It was really fun hanging out today, so I'd love to do it again after school."
  4. Jade turned her head and looked toward the hotel room, and her team inside. She walked back in to rejoin the meeting, feeling that any information, even not involving Rokata, might be helpful.
  5. Once she was alone on the balcony, Jade took a deep and leaned her hooves on the railing, staring at the horizon. Her heart began to pound. You're nervous. If all said is true, I cannot say I don't fear for my life at least a little. Rokata will not make this easy for us. And we shall return the favour. Fear means you understand the risks, but do not let it overcome you. Yes, you're right.
  6. "The same time as everyone else, I guess," Oliver said with a shrug. He never thought about if he got out earlier or later than anyone else. "What about you? Are you thinking of meeting up after class?"
  7. "Wow, for an unsold house too," Oliver added, raising an eyebrow as he entered the house with Jenna. "Yeah, I guess there's not much to do if someone managed to break in anyway." He took a look around. "So, we have a place for the night. What next?"
  8. Oliver nodded and helped Jenna inside the house. "Yeah, just act casual and stuff. We'll just have normal people watching us." He approached the door and something occurred to him. "How do we get in? Won't it be locked?"
  9. Oliver nodded, agreeing with that notion. He smiled, feeling more at ease knowing that the two of them had a plan. "Yeah, we should have as big an advantage as we can, just in case something bad happens."
  10. Jade rolled her eyes when Shining Armour relayed Tricis's message, but she had a smile on her muzzle. "That is exactly what she would say." The fact that Tricis had so much faith in her winning this battle made a warmth form in her chest. "Rokata will not get in my head. I swear, I will defeat him." I daresay there is not much room left in your head anyway, with me here.
  11. Oliver nodded and got out of the car too. "Yeah, it'll be easy for us to spot anyone coming too. It's pretty out of the way and I doubt this is a popular place." He put his arm around Jenna to support her as he helped her toward the building.
  12. Oliver smiled and nodded. "Yeah, we'll meet up then we can look around for any clues or something before this meeting starts. Anything that can give us an advantage in case it's a trap." He couldn't help but keep the possibility in mind.
  13. Jade nodded slowly. It made sense to her; Rokata had been preparing for this one battle for years, and maybe he expected her to feel the same. If she came at him fast, perhaps it would take him off guard. "I remember Master Xiang telling me something similar during my training," she said. "If your opponent is larger, you need to be faster."
  14. Oliver noticed the house as well and kept driving. After a while, he pulled into a different street and parked to the side of it. "Let's just hope they don't decide to show it early," he said, turning off the engine.
  15. Oliver blinked and pondered the question. He never really thought about that before. "Uhh, I usually get there with half an hour to spare," he said with a shrug. "What time do you usually get there?"
  16. "I suppose," Oliver agreed, frowning as he kept driving on, looking for a suitable place to stop. "I just hope whoever this friend of yours is doesn't let us down. I mean, they've been great so far, but you never know what could happen."
  17. Oliver kept walking beside Jenna, trying not to let his fear overcome him. He held Jenna's hand, finding some comfort in contact with her. He looked at her and smiled; he could sense some doubt in her, but he felt it was his turn to reassure her.
  18. Jade kept her gaze on Shining Armour, then looked back out at the horizon. "I plan to." That's the spirit. She looked back at the sponsor. "You are Captain of the Guard in Equestria, yes? Have you any advice for me?"
  19. "I guess that makes sense," Oliver agreed, still slowly driving around. "It's just still pretty dangerous, but I guess we will have a better chance of spotting someone coming after us if we're surrounded by less people."
  20. Oliver blushed a little from Jenna's hand on his shoulder, but smiled from the attention. "Yeah, I know. It's just good to know what we're getting into." He walked closer to Jenna, feeling more comfortable.
  21. Jade cocked an eyebrow, her gaze at Shining Armour becoming filled with curiosity. "Why is that?"
  22. Oliver shrugged and kept walking. "I guess so." He looked at Jenna and smiled, blushing a little. "Yeah, I guess you have a good idea for this kind of stuff. I've never really had to deal with anything like this before."
  23. Oliver nodded and drove on, looking out for any such places to hide out in. "Wouldn't they look in abandoned buildings?" he pointed out. "Especially if there's a car parked right beside one of them?"
  24. "Well how can we find out if it's not a trap?" Oliver asked. "All we know is where to go and when to go there." He shrugged. "Unless we go there early and check out if there's anything showing that it's a trap?"
  25. Oliver frowned at how complicated it would be to just order a pizza or something, but if that's what Jenna preferred. "Alright," he said. "So we have these new IDs and stuff. What do we have to do now?"
