    Okay, quick: Best Linux OS that's Debian-based. I'm looking to get rid of Ubuntu.

      Linux Mint is nice. It's based on Ubuntu, which is of course based on Debain. The default distro uses MATE instead of Gnome/Unity.

      OR you could try CrunchBang if you wanted something lighter and directly based off of Debian.
