Alright Tich, I really hate admitting defeat but you got me this time. Well played. I think it's time for there to be a change with copyright and trademark laws, however.

This is exactly what the lawyer told me and this is one of the reasons I was talking with him to begin with. What Hasbro has done is nothing more than bullying, and further more if they really wanted to protect their trademark they should go after all the profit sites that offer pony porn. -edit- Actually you know what, trademark law and copyright law are insane and you might have a point regarding this. That being said, I think it's time for a change and the only way this is going to happen is if we fight for it.

That's not true. I've talked with lawyers about this in the past and have got involved in some legal shit regarding youtube videos awhile back. They aren't going to lose their trademark. That being said, if it's for profit that's another story but for nonprofit nope.

If it gains popularity there's always a chance that Hasbro's gonna come up and try to close it, but if you're feeling particularly ballsy you could actually tell them to piss off and if you really want to be safe you could just have the files hosted overseas, probably somewhere where they don't care about copyright yet. Alright, personally after reading a bit of this thread and a long walk out of rage, I've come to the conclusion that unless Mane6 really wants to send in some counter claims or battle this out in court (which is something I totally would do if I were in their situation. I personally have sent in many DMCA counter claims in the past and while they aren't the same thing this game easily passes off as parody) petitions and what not are the best way to go. That being said, I think that starting more fan projects is the way to go from here. I hate to say it, but this entire act isn't them trying to keep their trademark, because they can despite fanworks: they're just being bullies like pretty much most big companies are. Assuming the Brony community is as big as you all like to say it is, eventually they'll get the message that you can't beat this.

I'm two days late, but my old troll self says that creating troll hypnosis files is a great idea and I'm kind of shocked that nobody's done this yet. Having a loud scream when the people are supposed to be relaxed would cause such a shock... Man, I love being immature! But yeah regarding my hypnosis file things, I kind of forgot how hard it is to actually convince someone that they are what you say they will be. I'm trying mucking around with Derpy Hooves right now and so far it's easy enough to get people into the trance but for the few who I've shown they say that actually feeling like a happy-go-lucky moron just isn't happening. I will get this right gwarsh dang it!
