How can I be friends with someone who's almost the opposite of me? I dont really like porn or violence yet he's ok with it. God, how can i just be ok with living like this?

Sometimes meeting someone with opposite interests can work out. It can bring balance between the two. But often or not, people with similar interests often work better as friends. However, I don't mind what other people are interested in My best friend has many interests that I'm not interested in and some of them I'm even afraid of, but I don't mind as those are his interests and he isn't forcing them upon me.
