"hello, my name is caliber, and sakuya hired me to be a bodyguard and/or errand runner. pleased to meet you" caliber said, trying to sound professional, "i come with years of fighting and traveling the roads, so i know how to handle myself." (hey, if its okay, could caliber be slightly better at combat them malachi?)

"hm?" caliber opened his eyes 'strange i thought i heard something.' he thought 'hmmm...a thief? no. this soon? i understand my items are valuble, but this is ridiculous. no, its gotta be something else. this guy IS a crime boss, after all. maybe a spy. yes thats probably the answer. maybe if i start listening again ill find out something. after all, not a lot can get past my other senses. just gonna have to wait.' again caliber closed his eyes.

'now that i have a client, ive gotta act professional. so, no more outbursts...' caliber thought caliber opened his eyes 'hmmm...its midday, time to make sure none of my stuff hasbeen stolen.as i do every morning, every midday, and every night.' he began taking inventory. "hmmm...got my spellbook, still don't know what it says, perhaps sakuya would know...my sword, of couse. my mask, my golden apple, my fire ruby...wheres my...? oh! here it is. well thats everything. good." he muttered caliber sa back down, waiting.

calibers thoughts were racing 'hmmm...after 'meeting' all of them, ive deduced this much: they've all got darkness in they're hearts...but malachi and sakuya seem not ALL bad. though i certainly won't get malachi anything for his birthday...gonna have to be on guard wit them...especially the one i dont knw...im guessing that this is the crime boss...' after polishing his sword, caliber looked around, and sat down with his eyes closed... 'i feel like somethings about to happen, so gotta be on guard...this way, using my sense of smell and hearing, i can detect everything around me. lets see what happens...'

"hmmm...well i always like cutting stuff..." caliber said "but with the whole crime-boss deal, i'll have to charge extra. but other than that, you got yourself a bodyguard!" 'heh, perfect maybe a can get enough bits to get that amulet i saw a couple miles back...' caliber thought "well, i could overlook malachi, but i'll be happy to work." caliber said "so! what do i do first?"

"tch! id like to see him try to hurt me..." caliber muttered darkly "whatever it dont hurt no more! i dont even care!" 'gonna have to be on guard with that one...malachi, was it? gonna have to get him back...maybe cut his tail...' caliber thought 'but at lest i have a job now... seems nice, but...whats the word? manipulative. gonna have to be careful around her, too.'

caliber grared at him "i said sorry!!" as they began to walk "you're lucky you're my clients friend, or i'd kick you into next week!" "hey!! im talking to you!" caliber ran towards him then back to sakuya "oh and you still haven't told me that idiots name. muttering angrily slashing his sword at the air, he began to walk

"sounds like a plan." caliber as he finished the bat, "i look forward to working with you. and i still haven't gotten his name yet. the owner of the bat." "so, as i can tell by you're broken horn that you're problably a zebra-type magic user, and that means that you have some sort of artifact i have one too, as a matter of fact." caliber reached into his backpack and pulled out a mask. "she called it a thank-you mask. since i already have one, i would have no use for yours. so, maybe i can see them, sometime though?" caliber looked at her "i always love seeing exotic stuff! oh, and HERE!!" caliber tossed the bat back to the owner, who caught it. "be sure not to hit something with that today! it might break again! so! shall we go?" caliber looked back at her

"well, that just depends...have you got any one-of-a-kind items you'd be willing to part with? of course you don't have to, its just that i like colecting that sort of stuff. you never know, it could be useful, as you can see..." *gestures towards his sword* "but if you don't have one, i'd still be happy to work for bits..." 'i don't know why, but this particular pony seems... special...' caliber thought "WELL, i suppose i should tell you, as you seem like someone who could help me, im willing to do anything as long as its in reasonable prices. this includes eveything from errands to defending you from dragons and you know what? ive never been in manehatten. i guess i could stay here longer than normal."

"i was not BROUGHT here, i wandered here." Caliber said, "by that i mean i was running low on money and suplies. i came here looking to get a high paying job sometime soon, so i could get my supplies and get out of here. civilization...i just don't fit in anymore...so! i'll ask you once again: whats your name? and who was the guy i offended?" 'there're going to hire me, but i can't shake the feeling someones watching me...or my sword...' Caliber thought 'hmmm...i'll have to keep my guard up...who knows if that one guy will take revenge...?'

'heh, guy thinks he can kill me. thats cute, but i dont want a fight.' Caliber thought 'though i WOULD have some trouble...' "sure, no prob!" he called at the pony. he turned to the other pony once again. "so, whats you're name" Caliber said as he began a spell to fix the bat. "and again, how about it? could i be of some help to you?"

"hmmm...i am sorry, i did not know." Caliber picked up the bat-half of the ground. 'this isn't good, if i make them mad, they won't want to hire me' Caliber thought "please accept my apologies, and my offer to help fix it." Caliber 'i know i know a bonding spell..." Caliber looked at him

Caliber blinked. "dude, thats something you can get for 12 bits at the general store. maybe if you go on advetures like me, you'll get something like THIS!" SHINNNG!! the top half of the bat cluttered on the ground "now THIS" Caliber said looking at his sword, "is a weapon, not found anywhere. given to me by a dragon. can you say the same? Caliber seathed his sword and turned to the other pony in his presence. "names caliber, so, how abou it?"

Cliber bumped into a couple of ponies coming out of the diner. he glared at them. 'hmmm...theres darkness in them...' he thought, 'but they look like they got money, perhaps they could get me a job...but i'll have to be careful...' "my apologies, i was not looking where i was going. i find myself in need of money. as it looks like you have it, iwas wondering if you were in need of protection."

Caliber stoped and read the sign. "welcome to manehatten, huh? perfect. i need to stock up on supplies. he looked inside his bag. "darn...seems im out of money. maybe i should get a job for a little while." he truged towards the city. "maybe i should be a body guard..." he said as he arrived. "id be good at it. i have rather good swordsmanship. and my magic isn't to shabby either..."

i climb a tree, scraping myself getting up, chill up there and fall down on accident, laugh at myself, get up, dust myself off, and practice bo staff. no biggie.
