When I get into a particularly bad mood, I sometimes convince myself everyone hates me. You're not the only one with problems interacting with others, so you don't have to feel alone about that.

Sharing a problem with others doesn't necessarily make it easier to bear, overcome, or that two people will become friendly due to sharing their issues, unfortunately.

The world we live in is far more distant than the happy, close world of Equestria. Not to say you were thinking that, it's just something that often springs to my mind when contemplating my problems.

True, doesn't mean they can't become friendly, or it can't make it easier to bear though. I can see what you mean with that on the other hand. The world of Equestria is so cheerful at times it makes this world seem even more depressing because of it.
