Because people want to look good around other people, and they like to show to others they are "better than you" because you like anything, it's not because it's a girly show, it's because of stereotypes the society tell us.

It isn't wrong at all; a gay/bisexual person can be the definition of masculinity, and straight men can be 'girly' as hell. Just because society may have gender norms or stereotypes, doesn't mean that everything outside of them is wrong
