It didn't contain Dazzlings at all Also about Principal: She is fine character. This is how villains are supposed to be! Not talking about their plans or stuff, not making evil smiles, and when they lose, they just accept it and move on! I'm super tired of stupid villains or ones "Hey look at me, I'm SOOOO charismatic and stuff!!!! I make smart puns quibbles!!!". It's enturely possible to make villain like that AND make him interesting (Look at Taffy from Star vs forces of Evil.). Principal here wasn't super interesting, but she is not supposed to be a real villain, None in this movie was really evil, with "take over he world" stuff.

Yeah, probably. But I still like to think she does care. Adagio is my favorite character, but I don't think I could like her withouth having redeemption potential .

Mostly about headcanon territory. She is a big sister\mom or she would leave them at first opportinity?

If Sonata is mostly just funny teenager, Aria is grumpy one. Aria is just more annoyed about things (it's not much different than Rarity's or Rainbow Dash character). She will be harder to redeem - yes. But that just will make things more interesting! Adagio, however, the one who are true villain. Smart, power hungry, ambitious. If it's not impossible, it will be really, really hard to redeem her. But that will make things even more interesting, right? Oh yeah, Discord didn't understand friendship but his abilities are useful so he should be redeemed yes :\

I would choice Adagio, I love her. Though she doesn't have much better personality than her sisters. Aria is just grumpy, Sonata is dummy, Adagio - single-minded villian. Other things that make them a good, deep characters is mostly just headcanons (I'm okay with that for now)

First - Scenes where Sonata was dumb. Scenario just used her as "stupid character for jokes". Aria not stupid, but still mostly for jokes. I'm not saying that Adagio is better - just a single-minded villain, like Sunset in first movie. Second - Trixie. And it's not even movie fault. She made dirty move because she was under their spell - yes. But can she cheat independenly - yes! And she still was a jerk after spell breaking - yes! Isn't she just simple illusionist in the shcool that have REAL magic in here and she still super proud of herself - YES! She is way worse than pony Trixie, I think. Also thing about Dazzlings - Sunset warned them and Adagio just like "Because you didn't". Adagio didn't even ask why, thought she have seen that super powerful rainbow beam. And, also Sunset got friends and forgiveness in first movie, and Dazzlings got shattered gems and broken voices. And, as we can see third movie spoilers, scenario doesn't seem to going to fix that.

I really don't see Alternate Twilight Sparkle as villain unless someone brainwashed her

Yes, please. I think, after the thing that they did to Dazzlings, they kinda should reform them. Also I think "too much redemption" is probably the worst excuse for not doing this. Because they was slighty better as villiains then Sunset is also pretty bad reason (in my opinion). I'm not saying they should give us, like, one hour story, just to show they are happy now.
