  1. The first time I'd ever heard about the any Zelda games was from a friend who let me lend his copy of Minish Cap, and I thought it was alright, I liked the music, the adventure, the sense of playing as this hero in a world full of monsters and saving a kingdom. So naturally, I looked into other games from the series, the new one out at the time was Wind Waker (spoiler, my favourite game of all time to this day) Being on a home console to play on a TV instead of a small screen was a step up from the start, but my god The music, even more beautiful than I could've imagined. The world, huge with tons of stuff to do. The art style was amazing to me back in those days, and most importantly, I was at an age were I still had child-like wonderment, but was also starting to be semi-decent at games with a little challenge. For me, it was a combination of both the game, and the timing. Who knows, if I hadnt been introduced to the series when I was, I might not be in love with the Zelda games as much as I am now, and I honestly cannot thank my friend enough for that
  2. The only book I've ever read from start to finish is The Count Of Monte Cristo, and from what people have said it's one of the best there is (And I'd agree.) The only scary thing about it is how scarily long it is, something like 1200 pages I think?
  3. Was asked today why I dont have a GF, finally came out to my mom that I'm bi after it got to me and it went really well. She joked about it like "Well that's even worse, no GF or BF? Feels like a huge weight off my shoulders though, Im just glad she's ok with the way I am

Good for you! ^-^ Always happy to hear positive outcomes with this subject. Self acceptance is very important.

  4. Just finished reading "A puppet to her fame." I think Im done with dark fics for a few solid years after that

  5. This thing. THIS. THING. Has stayed with me ever since I was a child, so much so that I still sometimes have nightmares about it.
  6. Managed to deal with personal problems without trying to joke about them or try and procrastinate thinking seriously about them for the first time in years. Feels good

  7. Can't beat the original PS1 Ah, the memories of Spyro and Crash Bandicoot
  8. I cant tell if I like BOTDF ironically or unironically

  9. So in the fan clubs I've seen a fair amount of not clop / anything strictly sexual, but rather suggestive art. I don't really mind when it happens to show up, but each time is does show up it's a little surprising. Say if you're scrolling through the Fluttershy fan-club, and people are posting all this wonderful fanart, when suddenly, you see her on her back with the 'bedroom eyes' and such, does it put you off? I think it's a weird juxtaposition but nothing more myself Again, I really dont mind, but what are your thoughts?
  10. Tim Minchin has a good piece on this, give it a watch if you want (Beware, bad language of course) also leaving this here because it's just funny
  11. I've never understood this one as a brit, since we say both over here, 'cos for us they're 2 different things
  12. (If someone didnt have an accent wouldn't they techically not have a voice at all?) I've lived in England all my life and Liverpool most of my life and picked up the accent since I've been here, but every so often I'll slip into a western accent with certain words since that's where I grew up, same goes for my dad. Such an odd combination
  13. Probably some upperclass family like Diamond Tiaras I'd assume
  14. I can't stand it when the stereotypical smart character is explaining something to an 'average' character using over-the-top scientific words and phrases and expects them to understand, then there's a pause of awkwardness, usually followed by a sigh, and explained again in like 5 words that are easy to understand. It's filler were there doesnt need to be filler and is stupidly overused, despite not being funny the first time. Die Hard 4 is a great example of this, but I hate that movie for so much more than just that
  15. I forgot how much I loved the pokemon colesseum soundtrack! If I still had the game I'd be playing it right now for nostalgia

  16. Got a brownish one on my butt. yup. Only found out because my parents decided to share it with other family members while I was also there for me to know
  17. Well, that's that. out of the cup for this season, all down to one huge decision by the ref again, should've been a penalty and instead of giving it, we got a corner and they scored on the counter attack

  18. Finally got shiny female combee, took so much longer than it needed too, especially since cute charm hardly helped

  19. I forgot how much I hate Steve Harvey. I would like to go back to that time so that I'm not burning with anger of some guy that isnt even in my life

We do at least have this:

  20. Absolutely, it's kinda been done before, maybe not to the extent of having their own character arc or full on breakdown of their struggles and whatnot, but in episodes like amending fences for example, we get some info on Moondancer, Colgate (Yes I call her colgate, not Minuette) and the rest of her friends. I'd love to see them focus some character development on side characters for sure, with or without the mane 6 involved
  21. I remember when I was younger I used to have a crush on Alice from Bloody Roar. If we're talking these day I dont really play many, but I like using toon link and little mac from smash bros for sure
  22. Now I see why everyone loves the Hamilton musical. I listened to the playlist and could not have been hooked any quicker

  23. Shiny combee ended up male, even leading with a cut charm ability mon
