    Hey, everypony! This is your Events Lead Dynamo Pad wanting to say that another year has come and gone for BABScon 2024. With next year being the final year for BABScon, I wanted to make a thread for those that attended to post some of their memories. A way to look back at the fun times that were had during this year's convention. These are all of the merchandise that I had purchased this past convention.

    I'm ready, my friend! I didn't come up with a group name, but I was thinking along the lines of Friendship. With both of our group names, I was thinking of maybe something along the lines of "Friends/Friendship of the Night." Would something like that be okay?

    I didn't get a chance to respond as I wanted to say Eeyup to joining. However, it looks like someone has taken my spot on Element of Harmony. Which can only mean one thing! I can make a team and bring more friends to join in on the fun!     @Ragland Tiger As Dynamo started making his way along the path towards the door, he kept making sure that he trained his eyes to the door. Among the darkened corridor, while also keeping one hoof in front of the other. Suddenly and without warning, he winced from the slamming of the door behind him. Quickly craning his neck, he saw that the door had been closed. As to why or who had closed it, he honestly couldn't be certain. Looking around, he was met with only the darkness that surrounded him. "Uh...do you ever get the feeling that your being watched?" He said to nobody in particular. His ears fell, while he felt his skin crawl upon hearing a low, dark voice from behind him. Darting his head back, he was met with a pair of fierce, evil looking eyes. Without a second to think or speak, Dynamo yelped and started dashing forward. Turning his neck to look away from the pair of evil eyes in the process. "W-What in Equestria is that!? Actually, I don't think I want to find out!" He shouted, while hoping that he could outrun whatever it was that was chasing him down this darkened corridor.

It's always great to see such fun with friends, pairings and voting! It looks like Star Silk and A Glass of Chocolate Milk are in a giant lead. However, it seems some pairings are trying to close the gap! There's still time today to cast your votes to see which top three ships shall claim victory!     I remember hearing the original song and it's kind of got that futuristic feeling to it. Upon hearing about this recently new remix to this theme, I can't stop listening to it. The way the beat of the song gets you to smile, to have the pep in your step as you walk. It's become a song that's really gotten stuck in my head.

    Hey, everyone! I hope that everyone's been having a great day and continues to have an awesome day/evening!

    It's time once again to name another Pokemon type that has a Pokemon that I like in it.

    This time being the Normal Type! While there are some dual typings within the normal type, there are a few that stand out to me.

    - Eevee
    - Noctowl
    - Cyclizar
    - Farigiraf
    - Porygon 2
    - Porygon Z
    - Swellow
    - Staraptor
    - Indeedee-Female
    - Ursaluna

    However, out of all of the Normal Type Pokemon. My favorite would have to be:

      Normal is such a weird typing. Does that mean all other types are somehow abnormal? And what does that say about Arceus? :confused:

      As for pure Normal types... I guess I'd have to choose Tauros, though an honorable mention would have to go to Eevee and Zigzagoon/Linoone

      @Samurai Equine Now that you mention it, I wonder if all the other types would be considered abnormal. I think Arceus is all types due to the Legends Plate at the end of the game. Given what the Legends Plate is capable of. 

      Tauros is a nice classic pick and a cool Pokemon design. Eevee I also agree with and I don’t see many pick Zigzagoon/Linoone. Is there a reason on Zogzagoon/Linoone? I’m curious as that’s an interesting snd cool choice. :fluttershy:

      Because Pokemon Ruby was my first Pokemon video game. I missed out on my chance to play all the other mainline games before it, but I got my start with Ruby, and I loved my Zigzagoon/Linoone. I named him Ziggy. I sure do miss you, Ziggy~. :D

    Hey, everyone and good morning! Happy Saturday and I hope that everyone has and continues to have a great day!

    Pokemon Day is slowly approaching and it looks like I've missed out on listing more favorite types. Something that I intend to correct today and leading up to the big day!

    The next type that we have is Water type!

    This one was a difficult one as there are some water type Pokemon that stand out to me. Both from cool designs and battling capabilities. These include:

    - Lanturn
    - Suicune
    - Iron Bundle
    - Palafin
    - Gastrodon
    - Kingdra
    - Milotic
    - Greninja
    - Golisopod

    However, out of all the water types, my favorite would have to be the starter I took with me on two journeys. Stretching from Pokemon Moon to Pokemon Ultra Moon. That Water starter is:

      @Rising Dusk I forgot to mention Quagsire! Awesome choice! :grin:

      The design is cool and you can't say no to a face like that. I completely agree with you and the combination of a Water/Ground typing is really cool.

      ...Can't I just choose Volcanion? Fire/Water dual types are so rare. :adorkable:

      But if I had to choose pure Water type, the answer is obvious. I gotta go with Samurott. Regular, Shiny, or Hisuian. The earlier evolutions are fine, but that samurai-themed final evolution is where it's at. B)

      @Samurai Equine That’s true as Volcanion is probably the first Fire/Water type. I’d say that’s okay to pick as there are Pokémon that some like based on design or a moment that stood out to them with that particular Pokemon. :fluttershy:

      I also think Samurott is a great choice! I think it’s based off of the Samurai, which is very fitting on your name, Onii-San. It was also really cool how Samurott got a Hisuian form in Legends Arceus. I remember choosing Oshawott for my playthrough of Black 2 and he was an awesome team member! :)

    It looks like there are many ships that are appearing! It's honestly interesting seeing what ships, both canon and non canon have made their presence known! There's still one more day for more ships to be submitted, so there's still plenty of time! Let's keep these ships rolling for the time to set sail is soon approaching!

    I had to add that power into hitting myself with my pie. Normally I’d say I wanted to outdo my pie from last year’s pie challenge. However, the secret? My sister added more whipped cream to the pie. As she probably thought I didn’t add enough. To which I wholeheartedly agree and it ended up much better that I could have hoped.
