    Here's what I've done so far to this orchestral cover. The version uploaded is actually older than the one I'm working on. I'm still adding drums and more instruments to the mix, but it's taking a long time.

    I forgot to mention that this song got onto Equestria Daily. This makes 5 songs I've gotten onto EQD.

    I added brass, timpani drum, and replaced all of the hats with orchestral shakers. I also did a couple other tweaks here and there. I'm calling it finished at this point. I'm tired of working on it.

    I replaced the kick and snare with orchestral ones and altered the notes to make them a little more interesting. I lowered the volumes on the rides and hats. I'm running out of steam on this mix, so I don't know how much longer I'll actually work on it.

    Submitted this to EQD again and this time got a rejection e-mail claiming it's not pony related 'cause Hocus Pocus. However, I submitted and had my PFUDOR orchestral remix approved for the site several months ago. PFUDOR is not pony related. It was not on the show anywhere. It was, however, in a Fluffle Puff video. A fan-made video. Not an official song. "Come, Little Children" was also featured in a fan-made pony video titled "Children of the Night". So what's the difference here? Neither of these songs are pony related and yet I managed to get one of them on EQD. And no, I didn't use the lyrics from PFUDOR. Only the music. So no mention of unicorns anywhere in the song. This makes no sense.

    I guess Equestria Daily didn't like this one. I tried submitting it to them, but I didn't get a response. Either that or it's not pony-related enough.

    Some improvements here. Most notably I fixed an error that caused the clarinets and bassoons to fade out of the song entirely at the beginning. I dunno how I missed this one. Secondly, I added glockenspiel to the song. Finally, I added reverb fades to the brass and also changed all of the fades throughout the song so there's more dynamics and certain instruments are easier to hear in certain parts of the song.

    I wasn't sure where to post this. It's not from the show, but it was featured in an animated pony music video called "Children of the Night". However, the source material is from the movie "Hocus Pocus". So.. I dunno. Anyway, I thought I'd try to make this song a little more "epic" with my arranging and instruments.     I added choir. I don't know how noticeable it'll be. I'm done working on this for now. No more updates. The Youtube copy has not been updated. The other links have.

    I decided to remove the original intro and create my own. I can't find an acapella version of the ponies chatting, so I left that part out. I added my signature piano work that I seem to put into everything, and also added some harp. I added various tweaks to the reverb and fades. Re-recorded all of the strings. Uh.. I forget what else I did, but I did a bunch of "stuff". I may add timpani and other drums later, but right now I'm spent on this mix. It went from 6 hours of work to 15 hours of work. Edit : I added timpani.

    I updated this a little bit and added some new brass instruments, and also added CineBrass' low brass pads to give it more bass. I also changed the snare, though it's still too repetitive. More reverb has been added to everything too. I may work on this more in the future.

    Thanks. It was incredibly easy to get on that site. I just submitted the song there. Both of these remixes, actually. I didn't think they were that good to begin with, but they got accepted. *shrug*
