My over 5 year old desktop is acting really strange. It just keeps locking up! I'm running system restore now, at the moment. I've experienced a lot with that old timer, and I really hope that this doesn't mean that its time is almost up! It might be a Frankenstein's monster with old and new parts combined for gaming, but it's MY Frankenstein's monster.

  I'm sorry that happened. I personally don't trust laptops much; ever since I used a laptop stand, (that my twin brother gave me as a gift), and it flung my laptop on a hardwood floor screen-first, I've preferred desktops. I still use the laptop, but I plug it in to a monitor with an HDMI cable. I'm pretty much still able to use the thing with my father's help; he separated the monitor half from the other half of the laptop.
