  1. Yep. That is basically it. They think that we shove stuff in their faces just because people "ponify" everything and infect the internet with out massive content. Really, we have no control of how far this pony stuff goes on the internet... It just sort of happens at this point, and therefore we aren't really being that aggressive anymore to push out our stuff. It's like this... The pony fever is a plague infecting the internet and its people. We can't control it. It's not like we intentionally dropped a nuke on the internet
  2. You are right. It's not that it bothers me personally, per se. It's never even directed toward me. My issue is just a common misconception that irks me because I was watching a video with a lot of cringe-worthy stuff, and everyone was complaining about MLP out of everything. I don't know. I never express my hate to them so that I cannot please them That is so very true, my good sir.
  3. I am writing this post sort of as a vent, but I want to see people's opinions on this subject. I have never personally encountered a true hater who looked down upon me for liking MLP. However, all I see on Youtube is people saying, "Burn in hell, Bronies" or "The reason I don't like bronies is because they shove stuff in people's faces." What are they talking about? Before I became interested in the show, I have never noticed this. Sure, it may have happened when the trend first began, but now I think things have settled down... Except for the haters. The reason there are so many haters is because they claim we "shove stuff down their throats." I think it has gone as far as them believing this is true because of how many people accept the idea that it is what we do. These people just assume that's what we do because it has become a recognized concept. It just makes me so angry because I have no evidence of bronies actually doing this as much as they say (except maybe on Pony videos where haters make intentional comments). Also, if someone comments on something and has a Pony profile picture but says nothing related to ponies, some smart-ass has to say, "DIE BRONY." Is it really the bronies that are shoving stuff down the people's throats? Or is it the haters who keep pulling the fandom into everyday life? For the most part, I have noticed that bronies generally keep to themselves, except for a select few, that is.
  4. Maybe the princesses were chained just as a precaution because Tirek knew that they could have possibly escaped without them. Just because Tirek was smart enough to chain the princesses doesn't mean that everyone else was smart enough to chain Tirek. Or, as mentioned above, it was Trollestia <3
  5. @@Smarts, Look on the bright side: at least it wasn't a Mac. "The Closet Door" I don't usually write, but when I do, it is a creepy pasta. I wrote this a few months ago when I was bored xD And here is just a freaky little thing I thought of as I was trying to sleep one night: "I Used to Have a Grandmother"
  6. Anyone heard of Hotline Miami? I have to pull off some insane, smooth combo of kills. I refuse to take the easy way out. By the way, here is an awesome track that will bring back the horrid memories of anyone who has played (It IS a great game. I would recommend it)
  7. You better get in line, Before you run out of time. Straying I have forbade. Take a sip of Leninade. #PoetryToCriFor
  8. I am a night owl. I just don't get tired until really late at night. Then in the morning I am really tired, especially when school is in session... I have a hard time with that, but my body has been coping with it much better than it did two years ago.
  9. That was great! Obviously not perfect, but your voice is so clear and smooth. I loved it. I was expecting something very cringe-worthy. Thank you for sparing my ears Btw, you earned a sub!
  10. @@she-brony9088, True, however, my idea was not really talking about his typical hijinks, but rather the concept that he is just really bad at helping with Winter Wrap Up and keeps screwing up unintentionally because, let's be honest, there was a massive time gap between his first appearance in the series and when he was entrapped in stone. That key fact would attribute for his inability to grasp the proper concepts of Winter Wrap Up. Or better yet, it could be sort of like that one episode with Spike and Rarity when she was basically mind controlled by that book. Fluttershy could keep telling Discord that he is doing a great job and persuade the other ponies to encourage him because he needs the positive reinforcement, but when he ends up basically destroying Ponyville, she has to tell him that he is bad at Winter Wrap Up, and the ponies gather (SONG TIME) to teach him how to properly do everything. The lesson is strong with this concept. But it has basically been used already. I don't know. I'm just throwing random ideas out there. It feels good to do some creative thinking.
  11. I didn't say that she is currently an outcast. I meant that in the first Winter Wrap Up episode she is still kind of new to Ponyville, which would make a new episode a bit different because each character (including her) has grown significantly. I do agree with you on the "same thing over again." When I was typing up my conflict, I was encountering that issue. Maybe Discord could try to take part in the Winter Wrap Up and "help" by messing everything up, but he believes that he is helping until the end when he sees how sad he has made everypony and sort of has his own "rainbow moment" as we have seen in the past (Again, this is just a general overview of an idea). This would fit Discord's character much better than my previous idea.
  12. I think the real question is "what do I do when I am on mlpforums.com?" Well, I like to play video games, especially on Steam. My friend and I have been trying to host a successful Minecraft server. I run. I like to try to compose musical stuff even though I do not have a lot of musical knowledge. I have two jobs, but they're not that interesting.
  13. @@Frostgage, it always starts with denial.
  14. That would actually be pretty interesting... However, I do not think it would work well for a finale. I think we DO need a Celestia episode. That would be epic. Wait, why hasn't there been one yet?! Anyhoof, because a Celestia episode does not exist, we don't really know too much about her and her development(?), so ending a season with that would be very anticlimactic and stale. That is, unless they really develop her throughout an entire finale, which could prove to make an interesting story.
  15. @@Frostgage, looks like you are out of luck. I am shipping you to China to be re-manufactured. I'm sorry that it has to end this way *pulls out a silenced weapon from trench coat* Oh, this is for you. You'll need it where you are going.
  16. @@Kolth, Yeah they are. I've had times where a mod would respond within minutes and move my post.
  17. @@Kolth, That's what I was thinking :3 By the way, this post and my other post about Winter Wrap Up should probably belong in the show discussion section... But I was too clueless to find it until after I posted them xD
  18. I was listening to the Winter Wrap Up song recently, and I thought that it would be cool if Hasbro would make an episode in season 6 involving Winter Wrap Up again. I feel like, during the original episode, Twilight is still a type of outcast who does not completely understand Ponyville, and at this point in the series, we viewers do not truly have a complete understanding of each character. I think it would be interesting to have another Winter Wrap Up, but this time implementing the evolved characters who we have come to know (And obviously some sort of conflict...) My random thoughts on a conflict that I am literally just coming up with now as I type xD Discord (It could be his first Winter Wrap Up since breaking free from stone!) attempts to help with Winter Wrap Up and decides that he has to use magic, despite what everyone tells him (He is Discord, he does what he wants). However, everything that he tries to help with ends up as a complete trainwreck because... He is Discord. Hate from everypony follows. The rest is up to you (And by that, I mean I was getting really wordy in a very descriptive paragraph about my fan-written episode, haha). It's just an idea. I think a Discord episode would be suitable for a second Winter Wrap Up episode.
  19. HASBRO, IF YOU ARE OUT THERE, HEAR ME OUT. YOU NEED TO END A SEASON FINALE WITH TWILIGHT WRITING A LETTER TO PRINCESS CELESTIA ABOUT FRIENDSHIP. *cough* Anyway... It would be a total nostalgic throwback, and it could even be paradoxical in a way. It could be a letter about how even though she is the Princess of Friendship, she still has more to learn, which, ironically, is one of the lessons that she learned (Don't be a know-it-all; you cannot know everything, that's one of the benefits of friendship: a shared wealth of knowledge) This is just my personal opinion, however. I think it would really hit all us fans in the feels to see her (Spike ) writing a letter about friendship again. Geez, it has been so long, hasn't it? What does everyone else think?
  20. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoq1c1CQA-k Twilight Sparkle agrees... NO!
  21. I see it more as a mother-son (owner-pet?) relationship... I don't know why the type of relationship that you mentioned would ever become canon xD
  22. Blegh, I hate cursive. Sure, you need it in your signature, but that is literally the only use in today's world. Why learn it in school if you will not use it ever? I understand that it is an art and it can be really well-done if properly executed, but, well, you can learn that on your own time if it means that much to you. People are being overly-nostalgic of cursive. Just because they won't teach every single letter doesn't mean that people won't know how to write their signature xD They will have to learn that eventually (Not like it matters... Most people's signatures are indecipherable scribbles.. And those are from people who grew up being forced to write cursive in grade school). And to @@Suukorak, you are right. They DID NOT teach it as an art. Actually, teaching it in art class would be acceptable in my opinion. I could deal with that. BUT NO, they taught it in English class and graded you on how you did. It was stressful. Also, being a lefty, I have issues writing cursive. Maybe that's why I don't like it. Mine always looks so awkward and UGLY. I hate my signature. I also have a VERY hard time deciphering cursive, especially when the person who is writing it has sloppy handwriting. My one English teacher would leave comments on our writings in messy cursive, and our entire class would struggle to figure out what she was saying. Haha.
  23. It looks pretty cool. The words are a bit hard to read and crowded, but the drawing looks really nice. Nice job!
