Poniverse's login system is absolute garbage, why can't I make my own password apart from this messy cryptic password sent out via email that never seems to work again?

Pretty sure you can only do that with the MLP Forums account, not the Poniverse account. I tried having a look already, there's only an option to "forget password", which doesn't let you make your own password anyway, you still have to put up with a messy cryptic password which not only will you not remember it, but you also can't use it again for whatever reason. That's what I really hate about it.
