I ask them if I can buy something, and they said "is it another piece of drum crap." Which shows they don't even care about my talent. And it's impossible to please them. They yell at me for failing school, but there's no motivation. I feel like its just so they can show off. Even when I had all a's I would still get yelled at.

No matter how this comes out, it's going to sound wrong (and stupid). You shouldn't need motivation to try in school, it means you get a better life and a better job, so you can buy more *ahem* "drum crap."

Well then your parents are full of it. I'm done caring about what people think of me and I'm doing pretty well for myself.

Parents can have absolutely toxic attitudes towards subjects they know nothing about, you just have to ignore their ignorance.
