I have been watching the show since it aired and so far so good, without spoiling anything too much a key figure in the clone wars pops up in the season finale.

I fanboy sqeeled when I heard that familiar voice. Have you seen the trailer for Season 2 yet?

Interesting. I've been meaning to watch that series for a while now, especially as I enjoyed the Clone Wars CGI one. I may take a swing at it thanks to your review, Juggerpony.

It is super amazing! The finale was also a jaw dropper. The,pilot was kind of meh, but that was because they were introducing the show and whatnot.
