    To answer the question, yes, numerous times. ^^ However, for me, whether the person who helped me was a Brony or not is irrelevant. The way I see it is a fellow human being made me smile when I was feeling down -- and they just so happened to be a Brony. Human first, Brony second.

    Interesting how in this thread, it seems a majority are non-heterosexual, but in the poll it shows that it is majority heterosexual. I guess straight people are the quiet majority on this site. Anyways, I'm 100% straight ^^

    Very insightful ^^ The ability to think critically and have the boldness to step outside the prescribed box is key for blazing new trails. Tropes are simply the foundation, but one can build the house on top of it any way one wishes. You don't need to follow the blueprint. If one knows the general rules on how to build a good story, than you can build a structurally sound "house" any way you want. I guess I'm liking the architecture metaphors today, lol. Anyways, great post! ^^

    I believe hypnosis is real -- which is why I've never done it. The subconscious mind is delicate and vulnerable, so I don't want to further expose it to suggestion than its already being bombarded with everyday.
