    I worked my butt off on a six page essay (1 page over the 5 page minimum) and I get a zero...just sent the teacher an email about it, I really hope this is a mistake ;-;

      No, because professors in colleges are sovereign. Meaning that they can do almost whatever the want with impunity. The irony, though, is that I dropped the class and today he posted my grade! -- a C...I'm still glad I dropped though, cause he was going to be a huge pain in the side.

      Yeah, It stinks because he put me in the situation of "OK, the drop date is today; do I want to wait for a response or drop the class to be safe." Better safe than sorry, I guess. I'm actually not mad more irritated by the inconvenience.
