    Give me a dry textbook on math and my brain will go blank; explain math through example and I'll wonder why I thought it so hard at first. The difference between being told and being taught.

      I think they kinda copied the wrong thing there.

      Increasing teachers salaries and improving their training would probably help.

      There could also be some culutral biases agaist the subject itself too.
