Cringe-worthy advertising? Two words -- Carl's Jr. I've never seen a fast-food company push sex that much to sell a stinkin' burger. It's advertisements have blatant innuendos that are -- in some cases -- just plain vulgar. You couldn't pay me to eat at that place; it's treats women like no more than the pieces of meat they sell. The ironic thing is that it's original founder was a Roman Catholic. -
It's really sad that Bobby Christina passed away...died too young. :/ She followed in Whitney's foot steps even to her death

Hmm, if I was hated by Applejack for no apparent reason, I'd question her emotional state of affairs. It would be sorely out of character for her to hate anyone; dislike maybe, but hate? No. But going along with the scenario; I wouldn't want to befriend someone like that, anyway. I'd shed a few tears and just move on with my life and be friends with some other pony. Life goes on. -

Sure, I would share. In fact, I shared my doughnut with my mom yesterday; so I put my doughnuts where my mouth is...yup, that was corny, oh well. -
I agree with Chip. People in our society don't want to talk about it or dismiss it all together, but male and female minds do function differently. Males tend to think more linearly; which is, generally, why they are good at mathematics and science. While female minds are more abstract and why we tend to be good at language and art. I'm writing in generalities here, of course; this doesn't go for everyone. But this is why you see more female artists than males ones.

Hmm -- am I cute? Meh, I'd give it a wobbly maybe. I have my moments when even I notice I'm being cute, haha. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd rate myself a modest 4 or 5. I'm a tomboy at heart with a dollop of femininity -- I guess like Rainbow Dash and she's pretty darn cute. But I'm not a pastel pony -- so yeah.

Hello everyone, I suppose this is a rather strange request, haha. But I'm looking for an Atheist, a Roman Catholic, and a Muslim who are willing to be interviewed for my intercultural communication class assignment. I don't know anyone that are a part of these three groups in real life and your help would really be appreciated. ^^ Here are the questions: 1. What role does religion play in your family? 2. Specifically, how has religion helped shape your family and the relationship among its members? 3. Does your family talk openly about religion often? Have there been conflicts in your family that centered on religion? 4. Does your family eat dinner together? 5. Is there a great deal of "play" and humor in your family? 6. Does your family share leisure time together? If you are interesting in helping me out, you can post your answers in the comment section -- or if you prefer more privacy, you can send them to me via PM. Thanks in advance! If by "weird" you mean overwhelming, then I know what you mean. When you first join the site, it can be a bit overwhelming with all the things that you can do. But there are so many wonderful people here that will help you to get acclimated and to feel at home. -- including me. ^^ If by "weird", however, you mean just plain 'ole weird, then perhaps this forum is not for you. And that is o.k. There's no need to offend anyone, just because you don't like it, though.

I beat stage 4 cancer when I was younger. Cheating death is a pretty good accomplishment, I'd say. ^^ And my ten year anniversary of being cancer free is coming up soon. ^^ I wouldn't have made it without the help of a lot of different people; but especially one in particular.
