      Well, I can't speak for Alpacas, but my grandparents have a llama and he mostly just grunts. Also, he proncs, which is basically the pepe le pew type gait that Pinkie Pie had when chasing Rainbow Dash in Party of One, so my head cannon is that the MLP ponies have at least a little llama in them.
