  1. One final away from the end of the school year! I'll be a Junior in College in a couple of hours! :D

      Oh congrats :D!

  2. Hey guys, I created a blog post to explain something that's going to be happening soon that may effect how often I'm here. Check it out:http://mlpforums.com/blog/2479/entry-16380-im-moving/

  3. OK guys, so I created this entry just to let you know what's going on. I don't plan on ever leaving the forums, but this may or may not be a huge detrimental factor to my level of activity here. For the last year, I've been living in a dorm room, and I loved it, but it will save my family lots of money to do a different arrangement for the summer and for next year. This "new arrangement" would be living in my Aunt's home. I get along great with my Aunt on most things, but I have a feeling she wouldn't like my membership on this forum very much. Therefore, I can't be overly active on the forums when she's around. She knows I'm a brony and is generally good with it, but she is VERY cautious of my involvement in the fandom. I guess she thinks that if the people that I know IRL found out I was a brony it would be "embarrassing" or something. I think she may also think that it would affect my odds of employment somehow, even though this profile cannot be traced to my actual name and personal info so far as I can tell. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know what was actually going on so that you didn't think that I had left the fandom or that someone on the forums had annoyed me into quitting. It's not that I don't love posting on here, it's just circumstances beyond my control that keep me from being as active as I'd like. Although, who knows I might find tons of time to post on here, IDK what will happen until I'm moved. Which will happen in the next couple of days.
  4. How do you do a blog post?

  5. Goodnight every pony, I shall see you when I awake!

      Goodnight, and sleep well! =3

  6. OK, so! I'll understand if no one can help me come up with an answer here, but I would really appreciate some assistance and thought it'd be worth a shot. So, has any pony ever heard of a "drift buddy" or "drift charm" on a modified car? I'm building a JDM (Japanese-look) modified Toyota Corolla this summer, and want to hang a plush or figurine from the rear bumper, as is customary on Japanese builds. I'd prefer a stuffed character, but I'm open to any medium. I'm looking for a Pinkie Pie or a Lyra, most likely will go with Pinkie since she's more common. I was looking for something that specifically had a hook on it and would be easy to remove and clean. Is there anything like that put there? She needs to be big enough that you can tell what she is, BTW. Thanks for any help you can give me. Below is attached a pic to just use as a reference for what I'm sort of going for. My Corolla won't be that low, so she won't be touching the ground.
  7. You sure will have a great time ShipperArtistWriter! Welcome to the forums! If you're looking for friends, feel free to add me anytime, and if you ever want to chat, feel free to trot on over to my little corner of Equestria. Be seeing you around!
  8. Very serene after reading "If Horses had Gods" by Ponky on FimFiction. It's about Twilight asking her friends about what they believe religiously, and I think it comes to a conclusion we can all agree with no matter what you believe in. I'd recommend reading it to anyone, religious or not.
  9. I like jazz, my uncle used to play trumpet in a jazz band (he also built Calichio trumpets for a while). I'm always a sucker for Count Bassie's stuff.
  10. Ponyville does have a police force, they just spend all day at Pony Joe's Doughnuts. (Sorry to any policemen who don't like this stereotype, I just couldn't resist.) But seriously, I think they exist, we just haven't seen any yet. Besides , what would there be for them to do?
  11. Any anime other than maybe Initial D (just started it, it's O.K. thus far). I just can't see the appeal to it. Show Related: Brony Music- for the most part, just never was my cup of tea. Shipping- don't even get me started. Can't ponies just have friends? (Cue the angry griffon with Russian accent: "EVERYONE GETS COLD, PLATONIC SHOWERS!!") Luna- definitely don't hate her, but I don't really see where her popularity comes from. Fluffle Puff- like Luna, not hated, just overrated IMHO. The new one with bulk biceps was kind of funny, though.
  12. Here is my employment history to date: The Review: I'm substituting "the" for the name of the county I lived in at the time. The Review was a small independent newspaper going head to head against a newspaper (the Tribune) in town that was owned by one of the largest newspaper syndicates in the United States. My first job EVER was as a STAFF REPORTER! I was so proud that I was able to secure the job that I wore my press pass anywhere I could come up with an excuse to wear it to. I reported on and took pictures of local events, and my articles were published in the paper. I was paid $20 per article and $5 per "cut line", or captioned picture, which was a lot of money in High School. I even had a handful of front-page stories! Unfortunately, things don't always work out like they do in the movies, and the Review was deep in debt from its start up costs. By the time I was hired on, the collectors were already starting to show up for their money. The parent company of the Review went bankrupt in September 2013, but the Newspaper itself hung on until January '14 when it went bust. Federal Student Workstudy: Basically, the U.S. Government pays college students to do their homework. Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Unfortunately, it's seasonal, only being available during the school year, but I plan to do it again next fall. Hobby Lobby: I'll be starting this job on the 4th of this month. So far I really like my manager, and the store itself is very nice. I think it'll be a good one.
  13. Hasbro may want it to happen, but that doesn't mean it will. I just can't see grown men being fans of Care Bears ( but then again, I never thought that grown men would be fans of My Little Pony, let alone myself being one of them). If they plan to get men like myself on board with another "girl's show" they'd have to get it just right like they did with MLP. Men don't seek this stuff out, it has to be so good they find it by accident.
  14. Welcome to the party that is MLP Forums, Moonstar-Angel-Mare! There's always something going on here in the Poniverse, I'm sure you'll love your time on the forums! If you're looking for friends, feel free to add me and if you have any questions PM me anytime. Great to have you on board!
  15. I'm trying to think of some relatively unnoticed background ponies who's fan pages I could join on here. BG ponies need love too, you know.
  16. I loved this scene! Clear Skies' accent was the best! (is it just me, or does anyone else think she sounds like she's from the pony equivalent of Boston? What do you think, is there a Neigh England?) I think she's pretty cool, she showed quite a bit of character in a pretty short scene. I'm hoping the fandom can run with it and give her a fanon personality. BTW, what's the name of the yellow pony in that scene? Does she have one yet? I think she's pretty neat, too.
  17. Here's to best background pony! I'd totally let her have my non-dominant hand if taking it off wasn't so painful (or permanent) Get ready for the floodgates of awesomeness to open:
  18. Well friends, it's been grand, but I must begin my regularly scheduled sleep cycle. Peace!

  19. E. None of the Above (Jack In the Box is my low-cost jam, Hardee's when I have a bit more to spend. Just wish we had In-N-Outs where I live.) BTW, where I'm at Burger King restaurants tend to be pretty old/trashed, is that a national trend or just local?
  20. Just had one of the rainbow Dash sodas. It was quite good, tasted like cherry limeade. Just that counts as my first official pony purchase.

Yep, found mine in a toy store. In fact, the most awesome toy store that I know of because they also carry the IDW comics.
