Well, I'm gonna have to side with the mods on this one; if the majority of people who left cited a lack of real content, a character minimum should help resolve or at least decrease the amount of posts which provide little to no content.

The character minimum has nothing to do with people that join and leave the forum after two or three posts - it has more to do with the fact that it was getting to the point that a good portion of the posts here say almost nothing. :|

If that's the only reason, then I think it's a little too strict :|
