    As long as you don't go completely overboard with it, eating meat is not really that unhealthy for you. As for the moral problems, personally I only eat meat from animals that I know didn't suffer more than absolutely necessary. No they do not. They react to stimuli, not pain. Plants lack nociceptors and most importantly brains, both of wich is required to have in order to feel pain. So the positive effect of eating meat is that we are cruel to BILLIONS of farm animal as opposed to them being endangered or extinct? I don't really see how that's a silver lining to the meat industry.

    The "Ah, boys to men" films has to be the worst movies that were ever made. I can't understand how they're so successful.

    I don't think the Maginot line would be any problem considering it didn't exist at the time. There did exists fortifications along the French-German border, but it wasn't anything like the Maginot line. The Uk would have joined the war sooner or later anyway. The invasion of Belgium was just a convenient excuse. So even if they didn't invade Belgium they would still have had to fight UK. Anyway I would bring some antibiotics to around 1450.

    What the hell is everyone's problem with one word answers? If something can be answered in one word then it's perfectly acceptable to use one word to answer it.

    I don't see how a horse is any different from a cow or a pig. If I can eat one then I can eat the other. I can kind of understand not wanting to eat horse, but what's so horrible about it that you would rather eat your fellow man?

    If I were to make a Marvel vs DC it wouldn't be about them actually fighting each other. Instead it would be about a unusually boring game of monopoly.

    The only real invalid criticism is when someone acts like their personal opinion is fact. You know, stuff like "This movie is bad because it's a comedy and I don't like comedy".

    I don't want to be negative, but I don't think that locking a users first post behind mod approval will do anything significant. It's easy for a troll/spammer or whatever to post a single good post, wait a day and then start trolling or whatever. Though, it would probably not do any harm either.

    Well, if they were able to rebuild The Dresden Frauenkirche after world war 2 I'm sure that they can rebuild Notre Dame.

    While it's not really my cup of tea, at this point the ammount of hate the genre gets is almost comical. You would think that the creator of the genre regularly shits in peoples breakfeast ceral from the way that some people act about it.

    Why the hell would Disney cancel shows just because they're not family friendly ? I can't find any examples of them doing so. Plus Disney's subsidiaries have released r rated films in the past so I don't see why that would change now.
