I tend to use only the starter Pokémon in almost every game, which makes it relatively easy. I remember I tried to beat Pokémon Red with 6 Growlithes (Arcanines), because I got inspired by the Anime's Officer Jenny, haha. But I forgot I need to use different HM's to move on. This is something I like about Colosseum, XD and especillay generation 7, there aren't any. Would you consider yourself an expert in things Pokémon? Did you participate in tournaments and breed Pokémon?

Aww, lucky! I know I received my first and only Mew thanks to another kid in elementary school. Besides Missingno, there was this trick to duplicate Pokémon while trading, right? This is how I've got Mew.

I used to just use the starters when I was younger and have them at really high levels to get through the game easy but I switched to using a team of 6 instead as I liked having more variety with the pokemon I was using during the game. Arcanine's a favourite of mine too, currently using Arcanine in my pokemon Shield team

I have quite a bit of experience with pokemon games but wouldn't say I'm an expert, I do EV train my teams but I don't really do any battling these days, probably the only example of me doing some more serious battling is the old Pokemon Battle Revolution battles on my youtube though those were still just fun random battles and I wasn't always using serious teams. I don't participate in tournaments or breed pokemon to get the best IV's though.

Yeah remember the Mew Glitch and Missingno. from the gen I games, those tricks still work on the Virtual console edition of those games on the 3DS but it won't let you transfer Mew's caught that way to the later games via Pokemon Bank/Transporter. You can tranfer Mew's hacked in other games to later games though as the hack check isn't that good and let's them be transferred.

Thanks to the EXP Share changes since Pokémon X, I always switch my team members and train them all. Mainly for the Pokédex entries, though.

The battle facilities after the end of the stories are already difficult to me. I'm kinda interested to do more there in the future, maybe. My problem is that I prefer to use my favorite Pokémon, not the best ones. Also many unevolved Pokémon are just too cute!

Right, I know this about Mew! It's possible to transer a caught Mew, but the process is very difficult. It abuses many glitches, changes your ID, the hidden ID and such.

But it's still a bummer we can't get Mew or other legendaries in the old games anymore. I have Pokémon Channel, so I can at least get a Jirachi.
