  1. I either find jokes funny or unfunny. I never get offended by jokes unless they are referring to me directly in a negative sense. Even then, someone would have to try real hard to think of a joke about me that was bad enough to actually offend me. Moments after hearing it, I would probably secretly applaud them for being creative enough to think of something that could actually offend me.
  2. Lol, yep. I didn't play it during it's heyday, but a just a few years ago. I first learned about it from a mod for Jedi Knight 3: Jedi Academy that recreated the first six levels and after finishing it, I thought the story was pretty darn good. I especially liked the whole Idea behind the Dark Troopers. I thought that the Dark Trooper project was one of the coolest ideas the empire ever thought of. I decided to play the game and I really enjoyed it. The Dark Troopers are still my favorite droids from Star wars... well, I don't know if that last one counts as a droid. I liked the idea behind the Dark Troopers so much that I wanted to buy a Phase 3 figure of one. Unfortunately, the one that I've had my eye on for so long goes for prices typically over 90$. I'm not going to shell out that much money for a toy, even if it does look this good.
  3. For 2D games, the Sonic the Hedgehog games that were on the Sega Genesis. 3D wise, Probably Star Wars - Dark Forces, Majora's Mask or Super Mario 64. I'm slightly leaning towards Dark Forces as my favorite of the three.
  4. Something I consider important for so many fans, myself included, as it brought together so many different types of people with various personalities and backgrounds to all like a single show that promotes friendship, tolerance and understanding. Eventually, these people were able to express themselves in ways that may not have been possible had the show not existed. The fans of the show have, whether it be through their music, artwork, fanfiction, or something else, showed their skill and creativity by using My Little Pony as the basis or medium for it. It's also great to know how the show became so popular that the fans were able to create meetups where hundreds of the fans could come together and make new friends and/or improve their social confidence. The social norm has also been challenged with the creation of this show and people's mindsets are now becoming more tolerant towards those who seem to enjoy activities outside of what is to be expected. For me, this show really changed me in probably the most unusual ways, mainly because of all of the music made by the Bronies. SoGreatandPowerful stands out the most to me in that regard, but I could probably write an Essay about all of that for another time. When, I don't know. I'm really glad a show like this was made, although I question whether or not the fact that the show was based on a Toy Line that started in the 1980s is important, as I wonder if the show could have been based on something else and be just as successful. Think about how different you would have been had the show never been created and there wasn't another thing that could replace it. How do you think you would be today? There are some who are casual fans of the show, but there are some who have had an important change in their life thanks to the show. I consider it amazing that a cartoon and the people responsible for making the show could have had such a wonderful impact on people.
  5. I just beat Halo 1 on Legendary mode today and let me tell you, it was one of the most difficult games I've ever played and won because of the new difficulty. The second and third levels had some absolutely ridiculous enemy placement and had terrible checkpoint markers. The hardest levels had the worst checkpoint markers while the easiest levels put them all over the place, almost like the game is just teasing you. nearly 1/3 if not a little less than half of the enemies are the elites, the majority of the elites being the more difficult variety, and I had to coordinate every single move and not make a single mistake. Otherwise, I'd have to go back and redo all of that hard work over again because I didn't get a checkpoint when I needed it the most. I had to restart the 3rd level because I didn't have a weapon that is pretty much required to beat the level and I couldn't go back and get it because I was now in a completely different area and couldn't go back. Speaking of weapons, on Legendary mode, some of the weapons are recommended to be avoided because they'll be useless the majority of the time. I got so sick of using the same 2 or 3 weapons over and over again and not being able to have any diversity with the guns. Everything else would have probably gotten me killed. I hate having to play a game a very specific way with no room for trying anything different. And now I'm being challenged to do it again with all of the skulls on. After finding out what each skull does, I've determined trying to play the game like that would be impossible for me. I'm never playing Halo like that. I want my games to be fun, not frustrating and rage inducing to the point where the game becomes nothing more than a chore.
  6. Left handed, left winged. Would you rather meet Luna or Celestia IRL?
  7. You have a chance to survive the both the vacuum of space and the atmosphere of whichever planet of your choosing. Which would you visit (besides Earth)?

  9. Here ya go! Have some Rainbow Dash contemplating the meaning of life as she stares at the cosmos! Must be the lack of light pollution or something...
  10. 9/10 Took some artistic skill to draw something like that.
  11. I only now just remembered I had another dream involving Luna... sort of. I was walking through what I'm guessing was a Toys R Us when I turned to the shelf on my left and saw a toy box with a toy Luna bowing down before a toy Celestia, who made a pose that almost looked like she was dubbing or knighting Luna with her horn. I don't really buy MLP toys, or toys in general, so can anyone tell me if a figure set like this actually exists?
  12. So... what game console should I buy?

    1. Spacethunder

      Spacethunder

Fast reply:i would buy a WiiU. Why? Netter Games in my opinion.

    2. Fox

      Fox

Buy a wii U. Because Steam functions better than a PS or Xbox.

  13. Serigo Canavero is the lead physician, neurosurgeon and researcher in his ambitious 2017 goal to be the first to successfully achieve an operation in which a human head is transplanted into another human body. The main goal, of course, is to ensure that the head and body are connected perfectly and remain healthy for a normal is not better than average life span. Several scientists and physicians are incredibly skeptical on the idea and many think that that the idea sounds ridiculous. I think that the operation is a bit to ambitious for our time, but even should the operation be a success, what will happen to the person's mind? Surely a new body will modify someone's mind in various ways. There are so many different foreign substances in the new body that his brain and modified nervous system will have to adjust to, it's going to take a toll on his mental health. Regardless, it's incredibly interesting to think of something heard only in science fiction becoming a reality, even if there is only a slim chance of success.
  14. 295655 This is gonna take a while...
  15. I think that it's something that will never clearly be determined as true or false by the show and will always be up to interpretation by the fans. I think that he is Star Swirl but I can understand the arguments that people use against that idea. There's so much support both for and against the idea, so I guess we'll probably never know for sure. Discord is such a wacky and uncertain character. Who knows what is true about his past. Everything not confirmed by another character could either be a lie, joke, or a deception to try and hide his past.
  16. I imagine basketball or American football would be a challenge, but if the characters in this show are capable of writing by holding the pencil in their mouth, than who knows what they're capable of. XD
  17. Spike has potential not fully utilized by his writers, although there are times where we see his potential used. In the episode Secret of My Excess, not only do we begin to understand more about Spike's background, we understand how dragons as a whole undergo their aging process. The relationship between Spike and Rarity, if you can even call it that, (I've only watched up to mid season 3 and I don't recall any other heavy Spike-Rarity moments) also developed and now Rarity has a symbol, the Fire Ruby, to represent the friendship and bond she has with Spike. It's because of this ruby and the how he remembered that he gave it to Rarity as a sign of his generosity that he went from being a gigantic and selfish dragon to his original self, showing how his original generous self won in the end. This is also one of the reasons why Rarity is my favorite of main six for teaching Spike an important lesson on generosity. Episodes like this show that Spike has potential to be an excellent character, but it seems like he's being thrown around in the background too much.
  18. I actually did have a dream with Luna, but we didn't directly interact with each other. The setting was Dantooine plains from Knights of The Old Republic. My dream started on the cliff on the far left side. I was wondering why I was here, then a few hundred ft ahead of me I saw Princess Luna walking all by herself across the plains. My dream showed multiple different angles of her trying to reach her destination, which was a house on the far opposite side of the plains. When she reached the end of the house, she faded away and all that was left of her was a yellow backpack. My dream self was hiding behind a tree not too far off from the house and when I saw that she was gone I decided to check out the backpack. When I opened it though, I didn't see it's contents. I was teleported to a college lecture room where the professor was lecturing about something. At the time, I thought that the fact I dreamed about Luna was pretty significant, but now I'm just disappointed that she didn't say anything.
  19. Do people still use the term Pegasister? I called a fan of MLP that once and she got offended that I didn't call her a Brony instead. I don't want to make that mistake again.

    1. Sugar Pea

      Sugar Pea

Well she shouldn't get mad at you, not like you can read her mind or something. I like the term pegasister.

  20. Hello to anyone who reads this! I happened to stumble across your forum while trying to look up some of the older Brony music from the earlier years of the show's history. I've been a fan of the show since probably March of 2012 ever since my friends introduced me to the show. After watching the first two pilot episodes revolving around Twilight Sparkle and her move to Ponyville and battle against Nightmare moon, I had no idea what to think about the show, but after watching a few more episodes and finding out about the diversity and content the MLP fans created, I loved the show. And at first I thought you people were calling yourselves brownies because I never thought connecting the words bro and pony together at the time. I still sometimes think of brownies when I head the word Brony. My interest in the show cooled by late 2013 and was almost non-existent by 2014. I always liked the characters and I read a few fan fictions here and there, but I never really watched the show anymore. I left off a few episodes into season 3 and never decided to continue where I left off. Imagine my surprise to find out that the show is now on season 5. Trust me, I didn't stop watching because I thought that the show was bad; I always thought that the show was high quality, even on some of the unpopular episodes. I stopped caring about MLP because I was more focused on other things and school became much more difficult. That's what I get for willingly choosing the classes that stressed me out the most, I suppose. The one thing that always kept me connected with the show was the music that Bronies made. Even during 2014 when I seperated myself from the show itself, I always listened to MLP inspired music from the Bronies. Seriously, if there's one thing that the MLP fanbase is amazing for, it's their music. I can't emphasize enough just how amazing the Brony Musicians are! I'd probably be a completely different person if it weren't for musicians like Pinkiepieswear, DashDub, ChainAlgorithm, and especially if SoGreatandPowerful never existed. Their music helped mold my personality and taste in music. My favorite Brony musician is definitely SoGreatandPowerful, which is why my avatar is based off of his OC. I hope he's doing O.K. these days. I don't want to make this terribly long, so I guess I should wrap this up. I'm looking forward to catching up where I left off with MLP.
