How can shyness be adorable? It's a horrible flaw that ruins peoples lives!!! D:

Seriously though, the whole point of her character is to model real people, to make the stories allegorical :V
If no one was shy, then there'd be less stories to tell.
If RD was shy, it'd make her character all kinds of messed up, because she's also incredibly brash and outgoing O_o

That's why the some-what replacement in the students is the whole shy changeling who hides their appearance initially o3o

As for the Parents naming.... it's a show about talking horses, what'd you expect :V

I don't see how her character can model real people, when her personality is extremely unrealistic. Also I know someone who is very shy and outgoing - I would never describe them as messed up, lol.

For whatever is happening in the show now, I wouldn't know because I haven't seen it.
