I am really sorry about it, is there anyway that you think you might be able to do to help him remember? Some details you could tell him, perhaps what you two were doing around that time?
my opinion is you cant damn well forget about something as important as that.... thats what really got to me... and made me feel like never believing another proposal from him again and not to take it seriously... I even told him that him to forget it must have not been very important....
