She really hasn’t. I’m not a fan of Tia trashing in the fandom at ALL.

Oh, not trashing Tia... being sisterly.

The back and forth that she and Luna have is indicative of a bond there... or more like a sibling rivalry.  I have two children of my own, and they pick at each other all the time.  However, even if they do, there's still love there - even if they're loathe to admit it sometimes.

So no, it's not Tia bashing to me; it's more like a prank war between two sisters, and the alabaster princess usually gets the upper hoof - this is just Luna making a comeback, so to speak.

The only character I bash without mercy is Blueblood - 'cause he's a jerk.

Oh yes, that is good Airhorn Humor. An oft forgotten class of humor!

       Very good, very good.

Good to see Cakemane & Blueberry having a fine lark!

  9. "Oh, that's nifty! We have a engineering type back at the quarry, and she's working on a land vehicle that wouldn't require hoofpower to run... but a flying machine? THAT sounds really neat!" Dax smiled. Y'know... this making friends thing is easier than it looks, once you get over yourself! Dax nodded as he listened to Wind, getting somewhat excited himself. "I'm always astounded at the marvels others can come up with, when they have the smarts to do so; I mean, I have my own stuff I'm into, but I gotta admit, I kinda wish I could do all the technical stuff I see engineering-types do! But still, it's fascinating to watch folks like that at work!" Dax could tell that Wind was quite enthusiastic about his brother's work, and was proud to speak about it... sort of like Dax himself had been about the stuff Harcourt had taught him, and bragging about it to Illiad. Well, don't just stand there making him feel insecure, Dax - now's your chance to say something! He looked around a bit, then moved close enough to whisper quietly to Wind. "... umm, I'm not sure how you'd feel about it, so I'll keep quiet if you want, but... I think what you have going on back there is actually pretty cool. Really, I mean it." Then, just like that, he cleared his throat. "So, uhm, what else can you tell me about your brother's work?" He hoped beyond hope that Wind wouldn't be upset over Dax's words, and tried to give him an out in case he was as insecure about his tails as Dax was about... well, a lot of other things. He didn't want to shame Wind, but he felt that if he didn't say anything, it'd be just as bad as saying something mean; he recalled when the worker ponies stared at him, and he knew what that felt like. Hopefully, he wouldn't be upset - he wanted to make a new friend in Wind. Dax looked at all the different races of scientific minds gathered here, and marveled at how Troy and TrUST had brought them all together like this. Woooooooowwwww... He was almost beside himself with fascination; so many brilliant minds, all in one place! Dax looked about at the other groups; he sort of wished he could split himself up, so he could see them ALL! But, still wanting to make friends, he instead followed where Wind went, smiling kindly. Dax nodded back, trying to mimic the gesture to appear friendly. "A pleasure to meet you, sir - I'm Dax. Your brother really seems to admire you, and I have to admit that anyone working here is amazing in my book!" He wasn't certain what to do from here, but he was sure he'd pick up the idea by seeing what Lift would say.

      Oh looks who’s back? :nom:

  11. WOWZERS! Y'know... we could use a staff artist with your level of skill... i-if you're ever interested, that is! But no, this is amazing! You have quite a bit of skill; kudos!
  12. Welcome, Pinkfire! I see you're a Flufflepuff fan... well, I am too! Welcome to the forums; please, enjoy your stay!
  13. Dax reached out and shook the hoof with a grin on his muzzle. "Nice to meet you as well - I hope I can keep up!" Noticing the strangeness of Wind's tail, Dax gave it a curious look... but said nothing yet; he wasn't sure if this was something typical for Troy, or just a unique pony. All the same, he was fairly surprised he'd been asked to join them, so he chalked it up to 'things to ask about later', and turned to watch the tour commence. He thought about Silver, and began to wonder if the handimare back home might decide one day to leave the quarry for such an incredible place. Surely, if she even stepped one hoof in here, she'd be blown away with so much technology, and would absolutely turn into a jabbering mess, so wound up with everything to see here that she'd doubtless speak in her run-on sentences... at least until she'd acclimated. However, it came with a slightly bittersweet thought: If Silver ever came here, she'd never want to leave. She loves the quarry, sure, but... but I'd lose a friend, and she'd be so caught up in her work, that I think we might lose touch. That... th-that would be terrible for me, though I'd be glad she was happy. It's a lot to take in - and she'd just get so busy in a place like this... Though he worried about it, Dax would rather have had Silver happy than to know she wouldn't reach her full potential at the quarry; there, she was the top-of-the-line handimare... but here, she'd be a star. Dax's thoughts wandered a bit, seeing as he was no chemist; though the mechanical arm was nifty, his mind sought out other things... and wandered back to the curious tail that Wind had. He wanted to ask about it, but again, he had no way of telling whether or not this would be a welcome subject to ask about. He'd seen a number of things already, but with a mind as rapid-fire as his could be, it continued to nag at him. He didn't stare, but he most certainly wondered if there was some safe way to inquire about the unique colt's interesting trait. This, Dax paid more attention to. I'll bet this is where they'll test out the Oasis Maker that Silver invented; Illiad made such a big deal out of what it would mean to Troy... but I have to wonder, with all this wondrous technology and scientific magic available, would it even make any sort of stir at all? I mean, not like I'd want all of Troy to stand up and cheer, no... but from all the advances I've seen in this one place alone, I can't help but think that it'll just end up on a shelf somewhere. Silver put so much time and effort into what she did, it would be a shame if all that work was for nothing. Still, Dax tried his best to pay attention, and was also pleased to hear that there were other Equestrians who seemed to have contact with TrUST; it meant that, even if there were issues between the two nations, that science held no boundaries between them. A refreshing thought, after hearing so much about how the two countries had so much held against each other. Hope for the future, he thought. "Are you a scientific type, too?" Dax asked Wing as they stood there. "I'm not, but I still respect the field." It was getting easier to talk to others, he noticed; maybe so much exposure to new faces here was starting to help him crawl out of his own proverbial shell?
  14. Okay... I'm going to reply to whomever has posted this coming weekend; if you haven't responded, it's okay - I can catch you in the next round, but just a heads up to whomever hasn't replied yet. @Widdershins, that means you, buddy. If you're not feeling up to it, s'okay; as I said, we can pick you up next go-round. (But I'd really like to play with Clod some more!)
  15. *looks over the list* *chuckle* Y'all are so young, all these twenty-somethings in one place. Adorable. I am 42 years old, for the record. Too old for a Brony? I don't believe so.

  17. My favorite line from one of my favorite movies.
  18. Whomever voted for Blueblood is an awful, awful person; for shame!
  19. He shoved a mailbox over, and slipped down behind it as he continued to fire away, reloading as quick as a jackrabbit running from a coyote. "Ah'm fine, beautiful - y'all just do whatcha gotta do!" Ace watched the firestorm and gave a low whistle. "Whew, doggies! Now THAT'S how ya turn up th' heat!" He looked over at the remaining zeds and pulled a number of playing cards from his pocket. He then began winging them at the zombies, smacking them about the faces to keep them occupied. "C'mon now - 'bout time ta deal with this lot! Show me them pretty powers, and I got yer backs!" He took careful, steady aim at Heather. "C'mon now... juuuuuuust twitch; all I need's an excuse, y'varmint..." When she vanished, he spat on the ground, then stood up. "Mite close this time, y'all."
  20. Ace gave a chuckle at that. "Well, gorgeous... tell ya whut; you an' beautiful over there deal with Ug and Lee, an' I'll keep these zombies off'n yer tails. Sound like a plan?" Knowing he didn't want to hurt what might be hapless captives, he started firing at whatever could slow them down: a shattered window, chunks of the sidewalk that blasted into their faces, or even just trying to use his trick shots to keep them back from the two heroes. "Y'all c'mon now - there's plenty o' partners fer this dance, and I aim ta please!" He let out a hearty laugh as he kicked a bench into a line of zeds, knocking them over and pinning them to the ground. "Don't be shy - go git 'em!"
  21. Don't worry - Ace works with the group; he won't take your glory.
  22. Suddenly, shots rang out, and a hailstorm of bullets slammed into the wall, sending enough shrapnel and brick dust to send the zombies cowering back from their intended target. "Let's just take a mite step back there, partner..." And there he was... the Ace of Hearts. Gunsmoke swirling around him, he flipped off the lamppost he was standing on and landed with a roll, coming up with speed loaders in hand and shunting them into their proper places, snapping King and Queen shut with a flick of the wrist. His roll brought him right next to the hapless victim, and he gave a wink as he focused on the lady with the fan. "Alright now, ma'am... I feel like we've had this d'scussion b'fore. I told you, I ain't puttin' up with mistreatin' a lady... o' course, in YER case, I'd say there ain't NO lady on t'other side o' this convo." He held an arm behind his back, and a single shot rang out; it ricocheted off the wall, across the street, bouncing off a mailbox and plowing into the lamppost he'd been standing on, sending a shower of sparks and glass at Sedusa. "Gonna haveta pardon me, ma'am... but I aim ta keep the peace - even if that means blastin' y'all ta pieces!" He glanced over at Night and the newcomer. "Y'all okay over there?" His eyes locked back onto Heather. "Now... you wanna make a point o' seein' what I can do... or y'gonna give up an' make this easy on yerself." The bandit's mask crinkled as if he were smiling, and his ice blue eyes flashed. "Frankly... I'm kinda hopin' y'all wanna do this th' HARD way."
