Rose watched as her shadow caught the knife, then she calmed herself done before sprinting at Mason. Chances are Tenebris will aim at her since her copy is staying in the back and won't be much of a threat. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw that Topaz was backing off to the edge. Her metal limb will be good against Mason, since it's more durable than her other limb. She lowered her body to be able to jump or roll out of the way.

Rose chuckled at Mason and said as casually walked towards Mason, "You are a sad old relic, thanks for reminding me all the good times, and what fun I had with him. Why would I kill him?" She watched Mason's and Tenebris' movements, while making a shadow copy of her without any magic in it. Tenebris is protecting the body, but a good throw would pierce, but who knows what the body would do. She watched her copy head to the other side and she threw the knife in an arc towards her copy for her to catch.

Rose stood up and turned to face Mason, then she said to Topaz, "Once the fight starts please stay out of the ring." She didn't want to put anything out there with the outcome being unclear. If this goes well for her, she might be able to make a friend and a connection of her own, that her father won't be able to use. She looked up to see that the sky was still cloud, barely letting any sunlight through

Rose sat back down and sighed, talking to Mason was stressful and the fight hasn't even begun. She heard Topaz call out that she'll need to fight in a few minutes. She started to wonder if her father was in the stands and how he and mother felt about her. She decided to get up and stretch her arms out before the fight started.

@Dynamo Pad @dragon4111 @Unicorncob Rose gave Draco a gentle nudge and said, "It's fine, just trying to make ponies feel what he wants." She looked Mason dead in the eyes and add, "Coach didn't give me this arm, my father did, after I lost my limb. The coach chose Jade, cause she probably saw something in her." She sighed with relief, he didn't know about the knife, so he thinks that it's a normal knife, so I just have to keep his physical body from stopping it in order to win the match.

@Dynamo Pad @Unicorncob @dragon4111 Rose gripped the knife tightly and said as she shook her head, "I'm not acting to be calm, just keeping a leveled head." She placed her other hoof over the other one to stop the slight trembling. She was fine earlier, why now is her hoof shaking in fear, unless Mason is doing something to affect her mind. Then she added as she stood up to face Mason directly, "My dad might be to some the boogeyman, but I've seen him showing emotions. How should I be ashamed?" She couldn't help but feel a little ashamed in herself, but not because of her emotions, by not keeping a leveled head the last time they fought. She heard Dynamo's words and calmed down a bit.

Rose growled with frustration and sat down on the edge of the platform while they fixed it up. She kept the knife on her lap with her on it so that she could relax until the platform was done being repaired.

Rose closed her eyes and said while taking a deep breath, "I know what you are trying to do. I lost my temper last time, it's not going to happen this time." She thought about it and quickly switched the knife to the metal hoof. Who knows who else knew about the knife and what it could do. If Mason did, he would try to make her lose grip on the knife

@Unicorncob @Dynamo Pad @dragon4111 Rose caught Copper and lowered him to the ground before saying as she leaped on the platform, "I'll take on this one." She clutched the knife in her hoof and added towards Mason, "Just remember, only one of us is leaving this platform, and I'm sure it will be me."

By the time the door opened, Rose's coffee was half empty. She got up off the floor and walked out the door expecting the headache to be worse due to the brightness of the sun. She blinked a few times and got a bit worried about the lack of sunlight. There was still some light, but not a lot. She quickly grabbed the knife while she can access her shadow.

@Unicorncob @Dynamo Pad Rose slowly got up and headed into the arena with her head pounding. On the way, she quickly grabbed a cup of coffee and started to head to the arena, she wished even more that she had some self control and had some pain relievers.

Rose groaned and dragged the dagger through the mattress from where she stabbed it in her sleep and grimaced in pain at the noises throughout the hotel. She slipped the knife back into her arm and stumbled out of the hotel room due to the hangover she got, should have left the strong stuff alone. She sat down in the waiting room and relaxed from the silence.

Rose stood up and said as she started to head into the bedrooms, "I'm not question your way of getting information, I'm just hoping it's correct. I don't have any questions about the opponents." She walked to her bed and fell onto it, and fell asleep.

@Dynamo Pad @Unicorncob Rose perked up at the information of it relying on sensing energy, that the knife slipped out of her hoof and clattered to the ground. She leaned down and picked it up. If she was able to stop Tenebris from seeing her, than it would be a lot easier of a fight. She muttered under her breath, "I hope you're right about that."

Rose looked at Quill and said, "Since you've run out of information on Mason, do you have information on Tenebris or the relic, or is that exhausted as well?" Rose relaxed back into the couch cushions and pulled the knife out of the shadow in the chinks of her limb

Rose scooted over to the pictures and said as she glanced at them, "I'm guessing the oldest was before he became the host for Tenebris, then somewhere in 500's would be Tenebris and slowly moved away from Celestia."

Rose groaned at the smack and opened her eyes and subtly glared at Quill before asking: "What do you need?" She stretched out her limbs and relaxed back into the couch. She was still groggy from the alcohol that she drank and barely waking up by a smack to the head

@Unicorncob @Dynamo Pad @DwhitetheGamer Rose said as she got comfortable on the couch, "It doesn't matter who you start with. I just listen." She closed her eyes and accidentally fell asleep. Her magic fell apart and her back hooves fell to the ground

Rose looked at Shining with a slight bit of confusion, then she shook her head and said as her confusion disappeared, "No thanks, I don't have anything to say. I just had a few dozen drinks right before I got here. I'm just tired"

Rose got up and walked out of the room and to her room to grab and toy wooden dagger, then she headed towards the arena to practice out of fun as she stashed it in her sleeve. As she opened the door, she cautiously peeked in to see that no one was there and slipped in, while closing the door behind her. She pulled it out, as she climbed the stairs, and started practicing with her eyes, like she was fight another person. Shadow continued to walk around the school, unable to shake the feeling. He didn't want to stop, until he figured out if it's his imagination or not, but he was getting tired and sat down on a bench to give his legs some rest. He placed the cane in his lap and looked at the hilt. it was carved into a snarling dragon's head, dipped into hot brass to be able to defend with it, then had a spell placed on it to keep it from being scratched.

@Unicorncob @Dynamo Pad @DwhitetheGamer Rose dragged her back hooves through the door and fell onto the couch, while propping her hooves on table made of shadows. She listened to the others talking, while the alcohol was making her tired.

Rose said as she stood up as well, "Just call it a hunch, that whatever is planned, it will be determined by the winner on how bad it will be." She shook her head a bit to clear it and slowly walked towards her room to rest and recover a bit before she'll have to fight.

Rose said as she looked around, "So, if I have it correct. even if we win or lose, something big will happen, that might be the end of us all?" She grabbed her bottle and guzzled it down, then she placed it on the other bottles

Rose's right ear slightly twitched with interest and she said as turned to Topaz, "I won't tell anything, not a soul, what makes you think that it will be the last one and do you know what he has planned for the end?"
