  1. So to all of you watching this show, who's your favorite sister?
  2. Have you tried Grammarly? It's a really cool tool that helps with finding grammar mistakes when you write.
  3. I recently looked at the plot summary at Wikipedia, and I instantly said, "Oh, I get what they're trying to do." These were basically trying to be "smart" with its ending. Yeah, I hate films that try too hard at being clever than they actually are. Oh, and as for adult cartoons, look I get why animation wants to look mature, but animated films need to think what they will lose once they go through this step. It reminds me of "The Little Prince," the problem isn't growing up, it's forgetting. As much as I want animated films to be vindicated as works of art that are just as respected as they should be, I don't want animated films to forget the fantasy, the wonder, the enchantment of what an animated film can be. I want an animated film to win a best picture, but I don't want films to be just as packaged, processed, consumed, and forgotten as the food or jokes from this movie.
  4. Depends on how you define "Jumping the Shark." The show has definitely changed from its first season, and honestly, whether you think the show has gone bad or not depends entirely on you. For me, I like the new episodes and I like that there's a recurring storyline in the seasons. Makes the show more enjoyable to watch.
  5. Now that I'm perfectly cool and calm now, you guys should check out how people on Tumblr are reacting towards the film. Let's just say audiences are... divided, to say the least.
  6. I've been thinking too much about the movie, I really need help!
  7. After two episodes I thought were just okay, I actually liked this one. I thought the pranks were funny and the fact they turned the pranking onto her hilarious. Rainbow Dash has always been kind of a douche and it's about time she gets well-deserved treatment in this episode.
  8. I just want to say that I'm a very sensitive individual and I don't like movies with a lot of shock factor. I just felt like posting a thread on this. Anyone with me?
  9. It's called I Write Like. It compares your writing to famous writers. https://iwl.me/
  10. I have started playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
  11. In case you don't know, this is meme based on a satirical article on how a cinnamon roll was too pure for this world. I'll start with the Mane 6. Looks like a cinnamon but could actually kill you: Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie Looks like she could kill you, but is actually a cinnamon roll: Rainbow Dash, Rarity Looks like a cinnamon roll, is a cinnamon roll: Fluttershy. Looks like she could kill you, could actually kill you: Applejack This is my personal opinion. You can make your own list and see how the other characters fit.
  12. Well my first advice I can give you is to plan who your characters are, what the plot will, where does it take place, why are they doing what they are doing and how are they going to do it.
  13. Is this going to be darker than MLP? On an unrelated note, I released my own novel which you can find here:http://www.lulu.com/shop/richmund-meneses/book-of-the-sage/paperback/product-22781431.html
  14. It costs money to have someone do the cover art. I can draw, but I don't if my art is novel worthy. Rethinking it now, though, I think I can just do a simple, uderstated, yet effective, cover in order to make an impression to the publisher. I already have my book published actually:http://www.lulu.com/shop/richmund-meneses/book-of-the-sage/paperback/product-22779952.html
  15. So after attending an Outback Steakhouse to celebrate my birthday (June 22), I decided to create my own fictional world and decided to write. 9,500 word and three weeks later, I was finished and now I want to self-publish it. I've already submitted my manuscript to a few a publishers. Do you guys think I'm ready to hit the world of literature?
  16. https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20130605154614AAh9uLP I find this finding rather surprising. I thought most bronies would be nf's, but I find the fact that the Mastermind is the personality type that makes up a lot of bronies. I wonder why guys who plan on world domination would be the ones to make up the majority of the fanbase.
  17. Currently reading Fablehaven. A light and fun book.
  18. I know this is unrelated but I wrote my first 5,000 words of a YA science fantasy novel called "Book of the Sage." Any tips on publishing?
  19. I've been looking all over the web for characters that share my personality type (INFP), and many of them are interesting. Characters that share my type include: The Flash, Princess Luna, Luna Lovegood, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Clementine from the Telltale Walking Dead Game, Frodo, Luke Skywalker Spider-man, Ms.Marvel/Captain Marvel, Scarlet Witch, N from Pokemon, Prince Zuko, and even Toad from the Mario games. I'd love to see characters that share your personality types.
  20. Any of you guys tried getting personalized gaming recommendations? My recommendations are either games I've already or am interested in playing. It's soooooo accurate.
  21. This is a really cool quiz that can help you with figuring out what you want in your games:https://apps.quanticfoundry.com/lab/gamerprofile/ My results say I prefer fast-paced, analytical, social, deeply-immersed and creative video games. I also let it give me gaming recommendations and it's such a great system, I highly recommend it.
  22. I like monopoly, scrabble, and smallworld.
